Purchased one of these brackets years ago to hang a heavy old electric guitar on. Certainly done the job without any issues.So when I needed another one recently for a newer guitar in Son’s bedroom. I was pleased to find they still made them. Although, Husband does always use his own screws, and not the ones that come with the bracket.Looks great hung up high, near to the ceiling. Quick and easy to get down and put away, even for me. As I’m 5ft2. It also holds the guitar far enough away from the wall. So it doesn’t touch it.

Hercules stands are my go to choice in general and when it came to replacing my old hangers they were high on my list of options.The wall hangers are of outstanding quality and hold the guitar of the wall as they should. They also come with optional spacers for the neck arms to allow thin neck instruments such as banjos to be hung snugly.In my experience Hercules stands have not reacted with the finish on my Gibson guitars which is apparently a concern with cheaper brands judging by some of the comments I read when considering options available.The cradle is very smooth with no nasty edges to scratch or dent my guitars and the flip up retaining arms give added confidence that they will stay put.The only criticism I have is the fixing kit, in my opinion it is inadequate, and I would recommend longer and thicker screws. The screws supplied would be adequate if fixing to timber but on a plastered brick wall they would not have enough purchase in the brickwork after passing through the plaster.

The media could not be loaded. This thing is great. Installation was a doddle, and it securely holds your guitar or bass without any drama. Symmetrical Strat or Les Paul type headstocks are no problem, but also works great with the Teles smaller assymetrical headstock, as it can rotate slightly to accommodate each side. Surprisingly, even works with my weird headless 5 string fretless bass. It’s supplied with cushioned sleeves which will allow use with really thin necks or very small headstocksas well. It sticks out a reasonable amount from the wall (100-150mm maybe) so would take a decently chunky acoustic. 5 stars, Highly recommended.

I was looking for a guitar hanger that would allow me to hang my guitars between acoustic panels and this has worked perfectly. Easy to install and feels very sturdy. Very happy with the product and the vendor. Just ordered a couple more.

Really robust wall hanger designed for a range of neck widths. Be sure to ignore the fixings included and choose the right options for your type of wall and this will reward you with a secure place to keep your guitar off the floor.

The media could not be loaded. Always nerve racking putting your baby on a hanger but went in with no fuss. Plan on buying a few more 🙌

I installed this in the stud of a dry wall. The guitar mount has three fixing points. I lined it up with the middle fixing in the middle of the stud (found with a magnet). That hole went well. Both other holes went either side of the stud and straight into the plaster. Doh! A little shift to the right and a dab of filler later and I had two of the three fixings in the stud and my battered old Yamaha Pacifica was up off the floor and on the wall.Easy to instal, just make sure it's up the right way.Very worth the money. Would defo recommend.

I love these brackets. So easy to place your treasured guitar safely in the protective jaws and just lift up to release it.My only gripes would be that being a universal bracket most electric guitars sit a bit too far out from the wall, deep bodied acoustic and some specialist gear has a much snugger fit. Having said this the space allows you to wall fit, highlights or backlights for your favourite axe.Unless you are fixing directly into exposed solid brick, I would suggest throwing away the supplied wall plugs and screws and using a longer screw and appropriate wall fittings for the type of wall you have. I like the Fischer range of wall plugs and have used them to fix these brackets to solid plastered walls, dot and dab plasterboard on solid walls, and plasterboard walls.
