Sloppy programming makes an otherwise ok product unusable
I made floorplans for my house, added windows doors etc. The program crashed shortly after and I lost it all.I decided to save after every addition and restarted making floor plans. Then I created a basement and added stairs. When I went back to first floor, the program crashed. Reload from the save and the program crashed. Also, at some point all of the windows and doors disappeared. So again, I started over and made the house slightly different to keep it from crashing. Then I started modifying terrain, and the program crashed. After working with the terrain for 2-3 hours I can't create the terrain my house has without the program crashing.I have spent maybe 8 hours with this program, and have lost all of that. I give up, time to try something else!

Older product but great price
It's somewhat outdated but still good information esp since it is not expensive.

Really bad!
Attempted to download three times with same result. When you try to place the flooring or paint the walls, the floor either turns to grass or nothing happens. You cannot paint the walls. When you attempt to do either of these, the walls usually skew or disappear completely. Not worth wasting your money on. Will never buy another download product again.

Works as advertised.
This is a top-notch product for the price. My wife really likes it. We bought it to design a new home for us. I don't need to say any more.

What a peice of junk.
Graphics and rendering are very poor.Very clunky to use. Old software architecture and gui.DVD case label looks to be printed on home laser jet printer.Install DVD works, label is very fuzzy and looks to be printed on home DVD printer."BONUS" DVD is also fuzzy and looks to be printed on home DVD printer. The bonus part of this DVD is that not files can be read by 3 different pc's. And the software does not run on any of them.Unless you're a complete novice, don't waste your money on this software.

To many restrictions for advanced users!!!
It made me choose at least 1 star… dumb!! I actually give it Negative 5 stars, leaving a review only cause it doesn’t have a refund option!! Complete waste of money!!!To many restrictions… this software is literally for folks who have absolutely no clue what they are doing when it comes to designing or building a house, it has far to many restrictions for those who know what they want and want to do things outside of a “box” if you’re new to designing this product is for you … if you’re more advanced… steer clear!!!

Not that easy to work with.
I am not quite as thrilled with the program as I thought I would be. Designing a room or a complete house is not hard using the space plan feature. You just drag and drop rooms into the plan where you want them to be. When you click on arial view you can see the house from the outside. When you do a walk through you will see the rooms laid out the way you designed the blueprint.A major problem you will have once you have designed a house is that trying to view it from the inside is very hard to control. You cannot spin around 360 degrees and see the entire room. It is very frustrating! The landscape design function is not that easy especially when it comes to adding terrain features like hills or slopes. I haven't figured out how to do it with any real accuracy yet. There are some items I would have expected to be in the landscape options that are not. There are no railroad ties, rocks or stones to place in the landscape.I have not worked that long with the program, having had it only about 5 days. I have worked with Google Sketchup, Bryce, Blender and other 3D programs that are much easier to work with in a 3D environment, so I am not a newbie at these type of programs. For $13 it is worth the money if you just want to fool around creating house designs and playing with the interior design functions which are cool. If you are trying to replicate your own lawn design, I would say go to Google Earth and learn to use Sketchup for free.
