Works great!
we always play double deck card games. My elderly father can no longer shuffle cards, and I developed a tendonitis trying to always shuffle the cards. This card shuffler is powerful enough to adequately shuffle two decks of cards, unlike an older one we had that worked off of AA batteries. I love it, and am very satisfied. It is just what we needed to keep the card games going!

Great to use but does get stuck sometimes
Great product to useIt does get stuck sometimes and you have t just nudge the card through but that ISN’T oftenThis is a GREAT addition to family board games night, PERFECt for those that are younger, senior citizens may find this handy that have arthritis and shuffling cards is tougher. Would be a great thing for a senior citizen care home for their bridge nights.I will be buying another one as i would like to give it as a gift to someone with a card game.IF the cards are really bent and a snag in card it may effect how it feeds through. Our UNO card set is like that and its still feeds the cards through but does get stuck and need the nudge. This image is what you receive and the product description is what you will getIt will shuffle your cardsIt is a louder sound when shuffling so we found if we were playing a late game and needed to be quieter this is a loud machine when shuffling BUT its showing its working. It DOES take a lot of batteries so have on hand as DOES NOT COME WITH THEMAlso there is a plastic holder in the front that you can remove the cards with and help you out THIS will get lost or broken and if so that’s ok because the product will STILL work and we actually dont use ours as we worry it will get broken or lost. One less star only because it takes so many batteries AND cards get snagged sometimesI will attach a video sometime to show it feeding a deck of cards through

Took some time, but works great
At first it appeared to not work. I tried for a couple weeks and could never get it to work right. I was furious. I was going to return it, and just forgot. About a month later while playing cards my wife said she was sick of shuffling cards and tried it out. It's been working perfectly ever since.

Very attractive - not always efficient
I've come to believe that a card shuffler is a card shuffler is a card shuffler. I guess I thought that since this one was so nice looking it would be better working. But look - it has the same top plate as every other shuffler at the retailers! Should have guessed. It is a little quieter but cards do not always feed right and sometimes only feed for part of the shuffle from one side. As it "ages" it is getting worse and jamming more - even with new cards. If you buy it do not expect anything better than the less expensive ones with the same top plate - just more pretty.

A good solid shuffler
This card shuffler uses two C cell batteries. Although there are cheaper shufflers that look like this model, they use AA batteries and are not as well made. Yes, I have personal experience with one of those -it was promptly returned. This is the second shuffler I have bought using the C cell batteries and both of them have been great. It is worth a couple of extra dollars to get a shuffler that works.

Low quality
OK. The thing arrived in the open box. Once out, I immediately notices several cracks in the plastic body.Even though the site description says 2 C-batteries, it would only take 4 AA. The entire construction is so flimsy and cheap, I can totally imagine it just didn't survive the transport. But, I think it was used.In any case, the motor worked somewhat, but it skipped cards, flipped cards, and ignored one side 2 out of 3 times. I really wished they charged me more for better product. This thing is about $20 overpriced.

Mother-in-Law Is SO HAPPY
My mother-in-law visited her sister in North Carolina a year or so ago and learned from her brother-in-law that he was playing Solitaire to keep his mind sharp. My mother-in-law came back to Texas a convert. She began playing solitaire every day. She was born a Baptist and was taught that cards were of the devil, seeing her brother-in-law playing cards like and not being hounded to Hell convinced her it might be a good idea. She had some trouble shuffling cards and developed a card sorting strategy that she felt gave the cards a good mix. When I presented her with the card shuffler she began to use and has been using it a lot. She plays more games and her cranky achy hands don't get in the way of keeping her mind sharp - her goal, after all. This device is not hard to use at all. Split the deck, put one half the deck on each feed tray and press the button and after several seconds the cards are nicely shuffled. That's what I need in a product: something that does what it claims to do without a great deal of learning and intervening actions. Simple.

Works, but Shoddy
I ordered this shuffler as a quick add-on in order to qualify another item I ordered for free-shipping.This thing works on 2 "C" batteries and it was a bit of guesswork on which way to install them. I initially put them in incorrectly and the shuffler ran backwards, flipping cards out the sides.Right out of the gate we had problems with the shuffler. The dang thing wouldn't turn off. It would remain on unless we physically held the lever up. I unscrewed the bottom and opened it up to find parts falling out all over the place (broken plastic, dried glue, etc). Rather than returning it, I re-routed the connection to a 50 cent switch and now it works better than it did before.
