Funxim Long-Distance Truly Wireless Charger Pad for iPhone xr, iPhone Xs Max or Samsung Galaxy Note8/S9 and Other Qi-Enabled Devices

Do not recommend. This product shows promise, but does not ultimately work. The phone would sometimes register the charger, and the charger would beep to indicate the connection to the phone, but while the phone said it was on a charger, it never actually received a charge, and in fact did not even hold charge while on this charger.Before installing it, I tested the device with various pieces of wood of different thickness, and added paper to increase the the distance between the charger and the phone. It is critically important for the device to even register that the distance be greater than 22 mm (I actually found it be closer to 24-26 mm minimum) and less than 32 mm (again, I found this to be closer to 30mm). Also interesting was that some comments by the seller state that the location pad needs to be used. When the device was on a table that was 24mm thick, the pad didn't seem to have any effect one way or the other, but on the piece of table that was 30mm thick, the phone and the device didn't register at all if the location pad was used, but would register if the location pad was removed.I was using an iPhone 11 Pro.I ultimately returned the device after 2 weeks of testing and trying to make it work (actually charge) without any success.

The concept and idea are great, however it’s not able to charge through a thick survive. I tried it both on a kitchen counter top (granite) and a wooden desk. Although my iPhone was indicating it was charging, it was actually loosing charge. But the real fun started when trying to remove the unit and wireless pad. The tape is so strong it actually damaged my desk. For those who want to try it out, don’t remove the tape until you are absolutely sure it is able to charge your phone.

This is another fail gadget.Great idea having the charger under without any exposed wiring but it doesn’t work.I followed the instructions step by step (I am very technical) plugged the charger in and placed the phone on top, it worked, I was so happy about the purchase and showed off to my wife (that hate my gadgets) as soon as I took it off the charger I placed the phone again and it didn’t react. So I unplugged it and plugged back in. Again it worked once and that is it.I tried to remove it from my desk - see picture.Very disappointing(My wife is laughing at me now)

I purchased this long distance wireless charger to charge my Galaxy Note 9 during the day. I use my phone a LOT for conference calls (on speaker) during the day and needed a charger that could keep up. The surface of my desk is about 3/4 of an inch thick and I have no issues. Installation is very easy. Magnets and templates are included so you can align the charger perfectly. When using, the charger "beeps" once your phone is in the right orientation for charging, so there is no guessing. I have not experienced any issues at all.

Installed perfectly using magnets and alignment guide and powered on. It took two minutes of moving my phone around on the pad to get it to charge. Then it charged for a minute and just stopped charging. So this item doesn’t work. Then I tried to take it off and it DOESNT PEEL OFF! It totally ruined my desk! I have to buy a new desk now, seriously. Do not buy this product.

The adhesion was too strong to remove the charger without damaging the desk.

So I bought this charger thinking it was going to be a joke. Turns out to be the exact opposite. It is a bit on the pricy side but the ease of use makes it all worth it. If you don't mind the high price, I 100% recommend.
