Updated review
I specifically wanted resistance tubes with more gradual increments between strengths than the usual 10lb jumps. I'm not looking for a major workout, just keeping in trim in old age. These go up 5lbs at a time - far more useful. I also wanted them less likely to snap than tubes I'd used previously. These seemed to fit the bill. They are thinner than the usual rubber tubes, worrying at first, but the resistance seems OK. They seem well made, and hopefully the reinforced construction will prove durable as claimed.A couple of caveats - the carabiners are larger than necessary, and the handle straps too are very long. Between them they add 12 inches at each end of the tubes. Not so useful for bicep curls. Luckily I have some smaller handles and carabiners from an old set which add only 7 inches and these suit me better. The plastic "protective" tubing honestly is more of a hindrance than a help. It is far too rigid, and arrives (and stays) deformed from being crammed into the small bag. It interferes with proper use of the bands, and I fear it will soon cause rather than prevent fraying of the outer covering. I have removed it (care needed so as not to damage the outer covering). Softer material - silicon? - would be better. I use them on carpet and it's easy to place a soft mat on top for the exercises where I need to stand on them. The exercise sheet is tiny and of not much practical use. There are plenty of resistance tube exercises available online.I've only had them a week so can't comment on durability, but I like them and they do the job - and I don't have the usual dread of the tube snapping (ouch!). So far so good.....UPDATE - Comparing side by side, these don't have as much stretch as the normal latex tubes. They're good for the door anchor exercises and most others, but they run out of stretch before full reach when stood on and arms raised straight up. That said, they're more than adequate for my purpose, and I don't get any "snap anxiety" with these..

Basic Tube Resistance Bands
I found these to be...... O.K but after using them for a short time, I've ended up buying other bands that I feel a lot more confident using.I use resistance bands as a 'warm up' before training with sandbags, so they're not pushed to the limit of their 'useability', but I'm afraid these reached that point fairly quickly. These tube bands are very similar (but a lot longer, and minus the hooks) to 'bungee straps' that are used to secure stuff. What I didn't particularly like, (but I kind of get the reasoning behind it) is the hard plastic covering part of each length of band. These are meant to protect the bit of band you stand on while exercising, but I found them to be a nuisance, as the plastic used is stiff, it distorts the band, and reduces the effectiveness of the 'stretch'.I found the best way around this problem was to carefully cut off the plastic, and replace it with a length of velcro neoprene.Cheap as chips, protects the band, and helps to prevent the bands getting tangled too much! The other thing that I didn't really like was the black plastic cover on each end of the bands to 'protect' them where the loops to clip on handles are formed. These things just slide off, and as such are pointless.
