Great for a temporary deterrent
My little pup has been chewing on everything he could get his teeth on since he was five months, but what do you expect for a dog heading into his terrible doggy two's if he's not there already. I was a little skeptical about the product because my dog actually likes sour lemon things but I bought it because after trying any home remedy trick to get him to stop chewing and nibbling (especially at himself) I thought I'd give it a go. I gave him a small spray on his preferred leg to chew on once it finally came in. He sniffed at it, was curious, licked at it, and then immediately turned his head away. Tried to lick his other leg, I sprayed it there too and he was looking at me like "why are you doing this". He still hadn't really kicked the hand biting so I tried it out on a few of my fingers. The spray is skin safe (at least for me and my pup) but I wouldn't use it as an intended use for that. Definitely wash your hands right after because it can leave you feelin kind of sticky. The scent isn't too strong either. However, it's not a permanent solution so if you're looking for a spray that will magically make them stop chomping, it's not this but it's a close second. After a few hours the spray does stop smelling and with all the pouncing and rolling about dogs are bound to do throughout the day that spray will rub off or get covered with some other thing that will have their teeth gnawing at themselves again. My suggestion is that once you get their attention fully away from whatever you've sprayed, start playing with them or distract them with something else so they don't focus on it. Overall, I think it's pretty successful with my dog; so successful that I have to hide the bottle every time I need to use it hehe. however each pet is different. It'll work for some and it won't for others.

Great when you get a new puppy
Works well on woodwork when new puppies want to chew on it. Only a couple of “tastes” and no more biting woodwork!

Short term solution
It definitely works short term. Spraying items that my puppy kept trying to chew and the bitterness kept him away. However, after a day or two when it was dried it did not hold the affect. I was expecting this to be the case. Good product and works like it's supposed to.

Awesome spray
I should of brought this at first but I went with something else that was more natural. But it did nothing for my puppy, it was like I was spraying water, so I had to return it. I went with this Bitter Apple which I had used many years ago and it never let me down. I’m glad it’s still around. Now this works perfect for my puppy. I should of not second guess myself. Definitely worth it, and worth the purchase.

My dog loves it!!!!
My dog chews everything. He's part Pomeranian and part Toy Poodle. I caught him chewing on my $5000.00 bedroom set, so I tried this stuff. Works Great! My dog loved the taste. He can't get enough of it. I sprayed this stuff all over the legs of my bed and my dresser and Ol' Sammy chewed the crap out of my bed and dresser and he's looking for more. So I thought I'd use it on the living room chair. Now there's a huge hole where the leg on that chair used to be. I highly recommend this for any dog that's teething and you're looking to spend a boat ton of money on new furniture. Don't waste your money.....

Deterrent spray for dogs
So far it has stopped my dog from eating my wall. It has a very pleasant smell, and the dog doesn’t like the taste.

Great Product
This is the only deterrent I found that works in controlling my puppy from unwanted chewing and areas that are off limits,
