Excellent, Simple, Easy!
I LOVE books like this! The information was very valuable and clearly written. I already have a small stock trading account (Stockpile) and I actually stopped 2/3rd's from the end of the book, logged into my account and bought a share of a new (for me) dividend stock. I love that quote, "...have your money work for you rather than you working for your money.". I highly recommend this little gem! I've known for years that dividend stock investing was always good, but I never had all of the pieces to the puzzle to feel confident in why I was doing it. I have increased my portfolio and invested in my future! I will be buying more of Matt Kratter's books - yet ANOTHER excellent investment!

Solid
It’s a solid book on dividend investing for beginners and certainly should be for the entry dividend investor. However, I’m an extremely late to the investment world, 63, I was looking for something that might be geared for an older child to the world of dividend investing.

Matt gives you the low down on beginning to invest in dividends. Where others talk of complexity and fear he makes it clear. Thank you!

Elementary Book
This book is so simple that I could have written it myself. I suppose if you know nothing, and I mean nothing, about dividend stocks and dividend investing, you might find it helpful as the simplest of introductions. Maybe. It took me approximately 8 minutes to pursue the entire book. I learned nothing new about dividend stocks or dividend investing, but I did learn that anyone can write a book and call themselves an author if they keep the depth of knowledge super simple. Here is a synopsis: Buy and hold the S&P 500 Dividend [Challengers or] Aristocrats [or Kings] at fair value (aka P/E).

Buy. This. Book. And change your life forever
Awesome book.Even if I am a french canadian, I’ve found the explication clear and meaningful. The author doesn’t get excited about investing too much because he is a realistic who sees the good and bad in investing. He gives the right amount of hope, always tell the reader to focus on creating wealth and not getting absorb by people telling to get on the penny stock train of by becoming daytrader. He gives real example, explains clearly the impact of compounds and shares fascinating stories of ordinary man which become wealthy without earning a million a year (the janitor example)Follow the few rules he gives and you will probably become rich by the time you get to your retirement. As he says in the disclaimer, these are tips but still do research and get help with professionnal people for the taxes.
