I was using these to make attractive sound-dampening panels for a work-from-home office. The canvases are of nice quality, well constructed, and sturdy enough for my needs. They seem a little overpriced, to me, but again I am no artist. I bought a 1.5" deep egg-crate memory foam mattress topper, and then cut panels out to fit inside the back of these canvases. If you're doing something similar, cut your foam panels about 1.5-2" smaller on both length and width than you need - the wood in back of these canvases is angled, so you lose a lot of space to tuck the foam in. The foam depth worked great, you can't see the egg-crate bumps through the front of the canvas or anything. I then took a nicely patterned cotton fabric from the fabric store, positioned it on the front of the canvas and tacked it tightly in place. I got upholstery tacks, but you could use small staples in a staple gun if you prefer. The result is a 4 gorgeous panels that block a TON of sound. The wood is sturdy enough to hold heavy-duty hanging hardware, and the weight of the foam & canvas itself.

These are great canvases, but one had a tear on it that I needed to repair. The two-pack is nice.

After seeing some of the reviews that the canvases were ripped for the inside ones ,I decided to take mine apart to see if that was true when they arrived. they were all in great condition. They are adequately gessoed and they are stretched Just fine on the stretcher bars. I give this an a plus especially since they're so affordable. Anyone who paints knows that larger. I.e. 36 by 24 inch canvases are fairly pricey and these have The deep profile ( have one and a 1/2 inches). Which is what I want for my fluid art.

The media could not be loaded. This product’s quality has changed!! I purchased the 60 x72 size previously with great success! However, this time the product quality was not as good. The frame warped on the first of two frames so bad, we had to start over with the second frame. The builder used less wood for the outer frame and the cross frame parts were not one horizontal and vertical pieces but, 9 pieces built together. The result of that is the frame did not hold its shape once the moisture from the pain on the canvass was applied. Bottom line, it was crap. Maybe we got a bad pair of frames but, they were not sturdy. I have attached a video of the better frame but, you can still see how the frame warped at the bottom left portion. Recommendations: BUILD YOUR OWN
