Powermania Turbo M108E waterproof battery charger (Single Bank, 8A)

I purchased the little 12 amp dual bank because I have several dual bank buses and RV. I move this charger to the vehicle that needs a top off. Notice I said "top off" because if you're trying to brig a dead battery back to life, it's not possible. Once a battery sits uncharged it is pretty much dead for ever, so don't blame the charger. I've had this one for four years now, I ordered it in September 2020.

even though i live aboard at a dock where i have shore power for most of the summer i don't plug in and let the solar handle things. 200 watts of solar handle my refrigeration and lighting needs with no problem from may through mid september. then the days get shorter and the weather cloudier and rainier. the 40 year old charger i had packed it in this spring. i didn't worry about it till this fall when the volts were not recovering by 5 in the evening when i get back from work. this was easy to install, weatherproof, and did a great job keeping up with my loads. we went 6 days straight with out sun and this had no trouble keeping the batteries happy.

I installed this charger on my truck to keep the dual batteries topped off when it was sitting. Installed behind the bumper in my Cummins Ram. It worked fine while it lasted- less than 3 years. That's a short life in my opinion. It ended with a *POP*, smoke and stank, outside of the warranty of course! Now it's 15 clams more!

This charger seems to have brought a battery that I thought was on it's last leg back to life. I was using a dual Pro 5 amp charger that's at least 15 years old. I was convinced the battery was bad after only one year because dual pro is so reliable. Well I was wrong. The battery was fine. This charger seems to be a cut above the older dual pro. I did contact customer service with a few questions and they were very easy to work with and very helpful. SO far I"ve very happy with this charger. The price is inline with what I would expect to pay. Not inflated like some other brands....

This is one of the chargers on the compatibility chart on Odysseys website. I installed in a 2017 toyota 4runner to maintain an odyssey group 34 battery. This is a single battery vehicle and I run a 50l dometic refrigerator/freezer. The AGM+ setting is being used, as it is below 15v during charging which is fine for the odyssey agm battery. I also have a no o charger that is very nice but the agm+ setting on it exceeds the max recommended charging voltage(15v). I dont think this is enough amperage for a deeply depleted agm, but for general upkeep it should be fine.

Installed on my boat connected to a two battery bank. All indicators showed green and charger in maintenance mode.Returning 6 months later, the indicator lights, including the power light, are flashing rapidly and both my batteries are dead.To companies credit, they admitted they’ve had bad units and quickly refunded my payment, but I still have two dead batteries to replace.“Hello,Thank you for the image. According to our warehouse this has been an issue with these batteries, they currently do not have any more stock and are unable to fix the one you have currently but they did let me know I can issue you a full credit on this order. It may take up to two business days for your bank to process this credit. I got this on a recommendation from Odyssey batteries. The photo (provided by Powermania) does not show the connectors for the battery. The end connections to the battery do not have a quick-disconnect feature. If your use for this charger is of a more-or-less permanent nature this won't be a problem, but I was planning to use this for a motorcycle application, so I will have to rig up some sort of quick-connect I hope will be compatible with my existing BatteryTender connections. If I had known beforehand of this issue, I would not have bought this product.
