Love but missing one
My daughter loves this game. But we are missing Moana.

Fun and educational
Bought this for my 4 year old. Played with the whole family. Everyone had fun. Cute concept. You turn over a tile, on your turn, and might be able to pick from the pile of cupcake parts, or you might have to mix up all the tiles. If you build up your cupcake, according to the card you choose, you may win. If the “villain” cupcake gets put together, the villain crashes the party and the game is over.I like that my 4 year old is learning to match the picture (colors and shapes) to build the cupcake. The pieces seem sturdy and the cards are quality and not at all flimsy.

Cute and fun princess game!
My little girls love this game! It is simple and fun. They choose this game more than other games we have; it is definitely worth the price! It is durable as long as you keep the small pieces in bags when not in use.

Missing piece but still a huge hit!!
My daughter (almost 4yrs) absolutely loves this game! It keeps her occupied and entertained, even on her own for hours! We did not receive the Aurora cupcake card, so that's why I removed a star, but otherwise this is one of the best purchases I have made to keep my child entertained, even just on her own, which is saying a lot. Also, as others have noted, it is hard to beat the villain, but we often leave that part out and just build cupcakes and everyone is happy!

Great for kids who love to build and it's portable
I never thought I'd give a product like this five stars. I'm usually not a fan of toys like this. Super commercial, princess-oriented, tons of tiny pieces. I actually picked it up as a gift for the endless string of birthday parties but one day when I was desperate for a portable game to take on a trip, we broke into it. My 4yo daughter spends around thirty minutes each day with it since on her own and she usually only does that with magformers or legos. This is actually a very versatile toy. We haven't even played the game yet! She assembles the cupcakes by the recipe cards. She makes up her own recipes. She uses them in her toy kitchen and setting up tea time. She really loves the physical manipulation of putting them together and twisting on the frosting. There are forty cupcake pieces. Taken out of the package, everything fits into a sandwich bag. We learn what recipes/ingredients are, how to follow recipes, how to look for patterns, talk about why certain cupcakes have certain ingredients (Why does Cinderella's cupcake have a slipper or a leaf for Pocahantas), and it's a very portable game. It also inspires us to play the classic Disney songs. I even made a playlist. If you have the Disney dolls, you can even do a princess tea time with each princess having her own cupcake. If you want to use it outside of the Disney princess stuff, you can use it as a tool to learn how to write your own recipe cards and create your own recipe (use the little plastic dixie cups or plastic shot glasses and let the kids design their own dessert and then record it on a recipe card).I'd say it's a decent choice for throwing in your suitcase for playing at the hotel (but too many pieces for the plane). Some parts are much too small for babies so watch out for younger siblings. Introduce the game to 3yo kids in parts and use it to teach a "unit" on the topic of your choice, and you'll stretch the value. It is very durable and I've seen no damage to any of the pieces yet, after a lot of play time.

Count your cupcakes!
First thing I did when it arrived was count the cupcake parts. I've read one too many complaints that they were shorted. Each box (should) come with ten cupcakes, 40 pieces (4 pieces per cupcake), 10 recipes cards, and 15 game tiles. The cupcakes are all individually wrapped, recipe cards and tiles are wrapped as well, and inside a large resealable bag. At first glance, I would advise finding a sturdier, hopefully not plastic :), bag to store these parts because they are small (see image for comparison). These cuties were softer than expected which I love, almost like squeezing an eraser. Aside from a few toppers, the cupcake parts secure pretty well.Object of the game is simple: make as many cupcakes before it's party time.- Each player gets the same amount of recipe cards, all players must play the same colored side on the cards - it's pink or purple- Place all the separated cupcake parts in the center- Lay the tiles face down in the center- On your turn, flip over one tile and follow the instructions shown. For example: if your tile is frosting, you can pick only one frosting from the cupcake pile to whichever recipe card you want to make. Each person does this until 4 clock tiles are found, which means it's party time! And if your little ones doesn't want to play by the rules, this can stand in for a tea party! Overall, very happy and excited to start playing with the LOs.
