The reviews aren't wrong, this is a fantastic figure. One of black Series weaknesses has always been spotty quality control. Overpaint, crooked molds or loose joints have all been common issues for me. This figure has none of that. The details are crisp, articulation solid and paint precise. This figure can compete with any import out there, and for a quarter of the price! The fact that it can also be troop built using a swappable face puts it in a different universe.This is one of the best figures ever produced by Black Series and should be added to your collection immediately. I liked it so much I decided to buy a squad of four.Also, my figures came shipped from Amazon in pristine condition. Not a dent or crease to be found. Nice work Amazon!

All the detail you couldnt get in the 90s, the figure is highly articulated and the gear gives you some options. Goggles,can be repositioned, face mask can be used to protect against harsh elements or COVID (HAHAHA).If you want the alternate face, pull off the backpack, there is a hidden compartment at the bottom inside the pack that contains the alternate face. Maybe he had to resort to cannibalism to survive Hoth. You can,have him be clean shaven or bearded. Honestly, this is,my favorite part about the figure. You wont lose the extra pieces because they areall self-contained.

First time my experience was just awful, figure smashed into a box too small. I sent it back and the replacement was in good shape and in a larger box. Not sure why that would have happened to begin with but they made it right..

Okay so I have to say Hasbro hit the nail on the head with these troopers. The swappable face is pretty cool. Right out of the Figuarts play book. And after two different faces you can add a scarf/mask goggles etc. it’s almost like you can make about eight different looks troopers out of these guys. The extra face is stored in the back pack. These guys have face tech and butter fly shoulder joints. An excellent figure for sure.

Great accessories, the extra face is a welcome addition for an army builder. So many different display options with the bundled accessories. It is almost like getting a scaled down Hot Toys figure. Textures and paint apps are varied and really bring a liveliness to the figure. Apart from a couple of articulation limitations, this figure surpasses the Japanese-based Mafex and Figuarts.
