So far, great
Great product so far - the bass boost is a great feature, and because I have my TV and computer in my living room, I was able to connect the wireless hub to each, making switching a breeze (switching may be somewhat more difficult if you have to move the hub back and forth, though not as difficult as some reviewers seem to think).Pros:+Fantastic sound quality with a very nice software suite that lives up to Creative's name, including an equalizer, adjustments for the THX faux-surround sound.+Comes with everything you need to hook it up to both your computer and TV (assuming you have the white/red audio outputs on your TV).+Great microphone which works well for both xbox live (with the included cord to connect it to your controller) and your computer.+Very comfortable, doesn't crush my head and I often forget I'm wearing it thanks to the padding.+Reduces the sound you hear without making you completely deaf to your environment - I think this is actually one of the more underestimated aspects of a headset. I can't really hear anything outside of the room I'm in, but I can hear myself talk, which is important because some headsets I've own (sennheiser headsets are especially guilty of this) completely cut you off from the outside world, making it difficult to control the tone and inflection of your voice.+Switch between console and computer with the flip of a switch, assuming both are within proximity of the hub.+Very sturdy construction.+Good battery life (8 hours of continuous use, on average, so far).+1 year warranty.Cons:-The foam covering the microphone comes off extremely easily. I fully anticipate losing it within the first month of ownership, largely due to my cat. I have not noticed a difference in recording quality with it on or off, begging the question - why was it there in the first place?-The included cords are very short, and while being standard USB cords, the smaller end (which plugs into the headset with one cord and hub on the other) are smaller on one side than the other, making it so normal USB cords don't quite fit.-The battery life is only indicated on the software itself, rather than anywhere on the headphones. This can make it difficult to gauge how much battery life you have left. Once the battery starts running low, the headphones will beep in more and more frequent tones until it dies.4 days in, and I have to say that this headset is worth the price. The biggest problem with wireless headsets seems to be reliability after 6-12 months, however, so I can't speak to that aspect of them.

Head-Crushing Performance -- Literally!
I'll lead off with the positives first, which center around what most would consider the important thing -- performance. This "Omega" headset performs exceptionally well. When listening to music or watching a movie the audio quality is just top-notch. I'm not an audiophile, but the sound driven through the earphones is immersive and intense. You can feel the lows and hear the highs and everything in between. You lose very little of the sound experience you would get from an expensive 5.1 or 7.1 surround system. They're that good. The mic works well and people have commented on how crisp and clearly my voice comes through. I use my computer for everything -- work, play, relaxation, etc. I work out of my home, and my primary computer display is a 50" Sony XBR LCD which is used for everything from email, Skype and spreadsheets, to watching the latest Blu-rays at night with my wife (my "office" doubles as our TV room).So... why did I give the "Omega" a mere 3-star rating? In all honesty, I would rather give it a 2.5-star rating if possible, due to the fact that the wonderful performance is more than offset by the overwhelming physical / usability issues in this setup. First, I have a big head (insert joke here), and the headset itself applies considerable pressure to the temple regions of my head, which within just a few minutes begins to cause a headache. I can only wear them for 10-15 minutes at a time before I am forced to remove them. If I'm on a long call for work, I have to frequently reposition them and use one ear at a time to listen. The cushioning on the over-the-ear phones is soft, but it is made of a synthetic vinyl / pleather that causes sweat around the ears. Second, they're quite heavy and "clunky." The design is not in the least bit elegant or streamlined and, aesthetically speaking, they're downright ugly. Third, the windscreen on the mic fell off of its own accord under normal operation within the first day or two. The mic is NOT on a "boom" and cannot be moved sufficiently out of the way. In fact, the microphone seems to be more of an afterthought than an integral part of the headset. Fourth, the controls are positioned awkwardly, and you need to hold down the power button for 6-7 seconds to turn them on or off, which should really require 1-2 if you want to provide a delay against incidental contact affecting the power. Fifth, the included stand is ridiculous. It was obviously created by a Rube Goldberg disciple, as it is a solution in search of a problem that will likely never exist. Battery life is *OK* but not great. I am NOT able to complete a full workday (~8 hours) on a single charge, so when I leave the computer to eat lunch or go somewhere I must remember to turn them off and plug them back in or they will, without warning, DIE at the most inopportune moment (usually when taking a phone order or on a critical support call). Due to the ridiculous stand setup arrangement, you can NOT use these headphones while they are plugged in. Lastly, if you require any privacy while on the phone, the headset bleeds audio that can be clearly heard by anyone with six feet of you.As a whole, the extremely poor design, material quality, and crappy ergonomics torpedo any stellar audio qualities that would otherwise make this a 5-star product, based upon sound-performance alone.

Awful. Gave them away just to be rid of them. The Windows drivers mess up certain network card drivers.

That headset is the best that I bought. Battery last for 11 hours and the sound that cames out from the speakers is too awesome !!

They were handled very gently and broke very easily.
Have had two of these - both broke at the swivel in the same spot. They were handled very gently and broke very easily.
