I saw this and figured it would fit in nice with my appliances
I ordered this as my other toaster finally gave out, tired of trying to get the button down to lower the toast . I saw this and figured it would fit in nice with my appliances. It came so fast, and I love it. The english muffins come out perfectly, and so do the toast. I haven't put anything in that was frozen, but really like the toaster, and the stainless matches the stove and refrigerator exactly. Wonderful, and the price was so low, I wasn't expecting much, but this is so impressive, I would recommend it to anyone needing a new toaster. Just great toasting on both sides, and I only have it set to number 3. Love , Love it.

Better off with my old broken toaster
I was very excited when my new toaster arrived, since I've been squeaking by with an old toaster with a lever held down by a rubber band. I took it out of the box, and my excited mounted - it was very shiny, with 3 button controls and a dial for browning, and nice wide slots for bagels. Perfect! I grew concerned when I tested the lever and was greeted with a crunching sound, and the lever failed to engage. But, I thought, maybe the toast lever only engages if there is toast in the slots. So I plugged it in, put toast in it, and pressed the lever. Again, the crunching sound, and the lever wouldn't engage. After 3 attempts and firm pushing, the lever did eventually engage. I had the browning dial set at 2 out of 6, and my first piece of toast was burned to a shriveled blackened shingle. That was enough for me to send this back. It is cheap and chinzy. The lever doesn't even work, and the browning dial is useless. If you fail to heed my warning and purchase this toaster, good luck to you! I will be going back to my old toaster with a rubber band on the lever.

Great quality!
Works great!! Had a weird melting plastic smell the first few times I used it, but that’s gone away now and it works perfectly!!

Bagel lovers BEWEARE
This toaster looks nice, and it works ok for bread but not much else.It doesn't toast very evenly and looking inside I can see some of the heating elements not light up. If you want to toast a bagel be prepared for a wrestling match. Bagels BARELY fit inside this thing. You can see the metal baskets in the slots bend outward when you try to put a bagel in and it usually take 2-3 or more times to get the handle to STAY DOWN and not pop the bagels back up because the mechanism won't catch. As a result sometimes pieces of bagel actually rest against the heating elements and cause them to burn and smoke. I've had this happen twice and had to pop up the bagels, scrape away some of the loose bits and blow the crumbs off the heating elements and put the bagel back in.To add to this toasters uselessness for bagels when you hit the 'bagel' setting which is meant to turn off the outside heating elements so only the cut side of the bagels get toasted, it turns off the INSIDE elements. So if you're used to putting your bagel in the toaster with the cut sides facing the center like this ( ) Be prepared to have to remember to place your bagels in like this ) ( now. I learned this the hard way when I came back to soft bread-y cut sides and hockey puck outsides. Grrrrr!Sorry for abusing the word bagel, but needless to say if you plan to use this toaster for anything other than bread pass on it or be content to put up with the flaws.

Possible Defect
The lever you push down to begin toasting is somewhat stubborn. It doesn't always want to stay down the first time, and I have to push it to the left a little to "secure" it. Or something...But, it toasts well!

Not a burnt toast yet!
Stylish and low profile on my already crowded counter. Dig the defrost and cancel feature. Use defrost to warm up leftover pizza and makes a quick quesadilla maker too.Great price. Thanks!

Beautiful and useful
Great service , delivery on time - product is beautiful and useful. Wide slots a well as a cancel button to stop toasting if needed.

Major disappointment!
Sadly, this is the worst toaster I have ever had. From the moment I first used it, the lever never worked properly. It had to be forced down to stay put. Forcing any moving part to do anything just contributes to premature failure. In addition, within the first week, the three buttons collapsed into the body of the toaster! What's up with that? The pop-up toaster has been around for nearly 100 years. I'm still on the hunt for a manufacturer who has the formula down without requiring the buyer to apply for a loan.
