Very Inconsistent
This review is for the PowerGen PGMPP13000 External Battery PackBeen using this charger for almost a week now and am not very pleased with its performance. Aesthetically, it is very pleasing to look at and to hold and touch as it has a nice bronze non-glossy metallic finish that does not attract fingerprints like other branded battery packs. I use this battery pack with an iPhone 5 and an iPad Mini. With both devices, I have the same experience. When either of my devices have a relatively "low" charge (anything below roughly 80%), the battery pack charges as expected. However, for the iPhone 5, It stops charging around the low 90% range. Press the power button on the battery pack and it will only continue for a minute or so then stops. Very annoying. When using the battery pack on either of my devices when they are charged anywhere around mid 80%, the battery pack only charges for around a minute or two. This makes topping off my devices a pain and I just give up entirely.I've left an email with www.powergenbatt.com several days ago but have gotten no response. I can't imaging their products have been getting such high ratings with performances like the one I'm getting so I can only imagine that mine is defective or I'm not using it properly. I'm more inclined to think it i the former.I can't give this product anything higher than a 1-star based on its performance and the lack of response from the manufacturer. I think I'll stick to more reputable companies that respond to customer inquiries (i.e. Anker).

Great Battery
This is a great no-nonsense 13,000 mAh battery at a price point that's lower than comparable batteries on the market. The form factor is sleek, with clean lines and an attractive antique bronze-colored metal casing. The 2 standard USB ports -- one 2A and one 1A -- are located at one end of the battery along with the On/Off button and mini-USB port for charging. There are also four small blue LED lights on one side to indicate charge/recharge status. With dimensions of about 3"x5"x0.75" and a weight of about 2/3 lb. (wild guess), it is small enough to fit comfortably in a back pocket.A battery like this is a must if you use your phone heavily for long periods of time such as when playing Ingress where full graphics, processing, sound, and constant GPS are needed for hours at a time. When I play, I plug my phone in to charge at the beginning of the session and let the charge trickle during use instead of draining the battery first and then charging. Heavy Ingress play will drain my HTC One phone battery faster than it can recharge so by plugging in the external battery at the beginning, the overall power drain will be be slower than usual and play will be uninterrupted.I like this battery. It looks nice, works well, has a great storage capacity, and does what it's supposed do without fuss. There's not much more you could ask from an external battery.

Worked well - for a while...
I bought this one to enable quite a few charges, which it did initially, but after a while it turned into a 1.5 charges of iPhone 6 Plus, at the best case. After few months the charging connector stopped working unless I put the cable in a certain direction. this is really annoying. To be honest, I am not sure whether I may have cause it to function partially but I would expect a mobile gadget to be more resilient.I had to manage with the bulkiness and weight as I needed something that will last but since it lost its juice so quickly, without extensive use - I wouldn't recommend it.Pros:Good led indicatorsTakes a reasonable time to chargeHas two ports. the 2.1A charges the phone quicklyCons:HeavyDoes not last long enough

Love it. Once you have one there's no going back to inconvenience again. Awesome at any price!!!!!
Perfect gift if you know someone who always needs to be connected. Don't know how I managed without it, no longer fighting for outlets at airport. Spirit flights do not have outlets on inboard like united flights do. MacBook iPad and two iPhones can be charged from one full power bank charge. I suggest u buy the flat cords at 5 below or here on amazon in various colors. Allows less confusion and no tangles I buy cords that belong to coordinating electronic device. Or a different color cord for each member of family because I keep another power bank same model at home too. .

Holds a charge...
Used to recharge my smart phone over five times before needing to recharge the battery pack. Planned to take camping along with a compact solar panel so I'll have power when away from AC for extended periods. The sun is still needed however and you can't expect to have cloud free days. I charged up and stored away for over six months and the battery pack still showed a full charge.

Great product. Needed a way to use an extended battery with my non removable battery one plus one. Fits easily in back or front pocket. Cut slit in my belt case on the left side and the breakaway micro USB cable allows me to connect the charger while its on my belt. I walk playing music with my gwatch to and from work without losing power. I worked till midnight Tuesday and plugged my one plus into it at 5%. In about 2 hours I was back at 100%.

For my Droid Razr Maxx it's great for a weekend
I purchased two of these battery packs. After fully charging and discharging the packs a couple of times I decided to see how many times I could recharge my Droid Razr Maxx. I have found one battery pack will recharge my Droid from a 20% charge to a 100% charge three times before it is depleted. I typically need to recharge my phone once a day. My only con - the indicator lights on the battery pack don't seem to correlate with the actual amount of charge remaining in the pack. As an example, after recharging my Droid twice, the battery pack will light up three of the four lights, which to me would indicate 75% life remaining in the pack. However, after charging my droid the third time, the battery pack is blinking only one light and it will no longer provide a charge to the phone. I think it's a great value for the $39 price. I take this on weekend camping trips where wall outlets aren't an option.

but allows 4 good charges of my mobile
Not the prettiest thing, but allows 4 good charges of my mobile.Solid build, but also a drawback in that it's pretty heavy.Always kept in my bag when travelling though.
