PowerBear Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Battery Case [3500 mAh] External Battery Charger for The Galaxy S6 Edge (Up to 1.35X Extra Battery) - Black

This broke within days of me receiving it. I complained to PowerBear, and never received a response. I requested a replacement under warranty and also did not receive a response. Totally useless.As far as how this broke, It all has to do with how the case "locks". Unlike every other case I've had, which either flexes to fit around the phone, or has a two-piece case which securely locks together, this case tries to get away with being one piece. The top of the case slides up, like a drawer, so you can fit the phone in it and then slide shut the top. You feel a little 'click' when the case is closed around the phone... but the strength of this lock is very weak. Within days the locking mechanism broke and would no longer click shut, meaning the case is always unlocked and completely loose around my phone. It is totally useless at keeping my phone in the case or safe when I drop it. I've got 3 big cracks in my screen now after my phone literally fell out of the case during a fall. The battery function in this case works fine, but as a case it is non functional and totally worthless. This, on top of the fact that I never received any communication back from PowerBear, is why I give this 1 star.

Ordered a PowerBear for my birthday trip to Hawaii. It was a last minute buy, and arrived the day before I flew to the islands. Five stars for awesome shipping. While in Hawaii, something just went ick and the PowerBear started making my phone crazy hot. I disconnected to be safe, and upon my return, notified customer service. It was crazy late when I e-mailed them, but the next morning when I got up, they had already responded asking what I'd like to do to make it right. Less than 3 days after that email, I had a new PowerBear in my hands, and on my phone. It's been awesome since. Fits like a glove. Easy to use. And can take the phone from 2% to 100% without running out of juice. It's not a fast-charge, but it's a full charge. The customer service team was awesome, and fast, and they were on point finding a solution. Love my PowerBear!!!

I have been using this case for about a week now and I absolutely adore it! my phone was always on low battery and i felt i was attached to the wall outlet, my phone has a little bit of wiggle room which makes me a bit nervous but I dropped it from my lap and it stayed all together with no damage to the phone!

Let's see, fifteen dollars for a new battery and installation kit. What a difference from a new phone! And it works! However, it needs directions, not a statement of "Watch videos." Hubby broke the back of my phone that better directions might have prevented, so its was another 10.00 to get a new back.Still, I would do it again, and since his phone was purchased at the same time as mine, we may be doing it again.

I replaced my old Samsung S6 Edge with a S8+ because the battery would run out really fast and the lack of memory was making it difficult to use.I unlocked it to use it for travel with less memory requirements.Since I connected it to the Power Bear, it is acting as a new phone.First, the case looks and feels really nice and adds grip.The indicating lights are big help to follow up on the amount of charge left.So far I let the phone drain to 30-40% and turn on the feed. It charges rather fast and it lasts all day.I charge both overnight with no problem,The extension cord for the headphones is helpful, I additionally own a blue tooth set.For now I gave 5 stars on durability, but it is too new to confirm this.Highly recommended.

I am new to the world of battery cases like this, I'm used to the kind that look like a paperweight. That said my PowerBear is ridiculously awesome. As somebody who uses their phone for work and is on the road most of the day, it's a life saver. Easily on a full charge with heavy SOT (screen on time) it lasts from 6 a.m. to midnight at least. The material is nice as well, and the sides match nicely with the Edge screen so you have no trouble swiping. Very intrusive, not adding much to weight.Only issues I have had are the bottom being extended makes it hard to do that thing where your little finger supports the bottom as you use the phone one-handed. Minor complaint.Bear in mind, this is a BATTERY case, not a protective one. The case adds some weight and girth to the very thin phone but if you dropped it I'd be pretty confident that it'd break both phone and case.

After receiving this on January 5th, it just stopped working on the 16th. The build quality and design were nice although the space for the volume and sleep buttons were a bit uncomfortable. As of now, it does not charge past 1/4 (Only one blinking charge indicator out of 4) and I have tried this on a few functioning chargers. Even when disconnecting the phone, it still doesnt work.When I have the phone connected, it only periodically charges the phone. Basically, it is now completely unusable and I would have contacted the support line if it was easily found but it isn't.

This product is very poorly made. First of all, the box it came in was riddled with misspellings and it also stated that the case and a integrated solar panel to keep the battery topped off! There is no solar panel...just the 4,000 mAh battery. Secondly, the case worked just fine for about a week but after that it would not even charge the phone to 100% even once! The battery started heating up to an uncomfortable temperature and was almost burning my leg through jeans pocket. not good, folks...especially with all this talk of samsung phone batteries exploding and whatnot. Anyway...please save yourself the trouble and buy a different brand of case.
