Hylo Forte Eye Drops 10 ml

These are great eyedrops, but the product package is damaged and no protective seal wrapping the bottle. Supposedly not possible to return but getting a refund thanks to Amazon customer service. These are my favorite eye drops and hard to find anywhere other than Amazon.

Great drops for dry eyes

The eye drop solution itself is BRILLIANT! The best I've found so far. No preservatives, no phosphate and feels silky smooth in the eye. No burning - and all drops burn my eyes - but not these. It contains Sodium Hylauronate, the best ingredient for healing and soothing the eye, in my estimation, and that is very hard to find in preservative free eye drops.The bottle applicator however is bloody awfu! It is very awkward to hold and dispense with one hand, or two for that matter. Your wrist must be double jointed to operate this bottle. It's the only way! The bottle is thick white plastic and you cannot see how much of the solution is in the bottle. You hear NOTHING when you shake the bottle, so the only way you may know that the solution is actually in there, is if it comes out when you depress the plunger. You will most certainly be down to your last drop before you realize that you need to reorder, thus having to wait another three weeks for it to arrive, while your eyeballs dry out like rotting persimmons, and your eyelids suction to them like a squid on a diver's mask.The bottle says 10 ml, so basically it contains 2 American teaspoons of solution. If you don't want to run out, it's best to just go ahead and reorder the day after you receive your first order to be on the side of caution. Whoever engineered this bottle applicator clearly drinks and thinks he knows things. Worse yet, a ligitimate company with an outstanding eye solution product said YES to this evil little bottle of frustration and buggery. Don't let this stop you from purchasing the drops. Have another person carefully read the instructions and dispense them for you. It's worth it.

I’m not one for leaving reviews, but these drops are incredible! I’ve spent almost $100 trying different preservative-free brands — Systane Hydration, Theratears, Refresh — and none of them are nearly as good as these drops. In fact, I misplaced my bottle today and had to use those other drops, and man my eyes were so uncomfortable. Just found the bottle right now and the relief my eyes feel is amazing.Also, don’t understand why people complain so much about the bottle and the applicator. I think it’s really easy to use and super intuitive. You press down on the button and it dispenses a drop. You hold it in your hand between your thumb and index finger and push down with your index finger. Maybe I have super large or strong hands or something, but I actually prefer this applicator to others.Buy these tears!

What really annoys me with this product is that there is no way to ever tell how much liquid is in the container!

This Hylo-Forte eye drop is nothing short of miraculous for me. My eyes have been continuously gritty, itchy, dry, red and even blurry at times no matter what I did or what eye drops I used. I read that eye drops containing hyaluronic acid, (which Hylo-Forte does) were recommended by the head of the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute. So I ordered Hylo-Forte and some other preservative free drops suitable for carrying in pocket or purse. When my order arrived I immediately read the package insert for the Hylo-Forte and put the first drop in my right eye which all that day had felt like there was a grain of sand in it every time I blinked. I was astonished!!! The "grit" immediately disappeared and I quickly put a drop in the other eye. The effect lasted for many hours with none of the previously mentioned symptoms apparent. The package said the drops could be used up to 3 times a day, so even tho I probably didn't need to, I put them in my eyes before watching TV in the evening and again before bed. In the morning the vision in one of my eyes was cloudy (as has been the usual case), but within 10 minutes of using the drops that cleared up and I have not used another dose for the rest of the day. My eyes have continued to be comfortable, moist feeling and symptom free all day. Additionally, the product has a very clever dispensing system which dispenses exactly one pre-measured drop per pump. It's a very nice feature since the bottle only contains10ml and I wouldn't want to waste any. It is a very short time to have used this product and be commenting on it, but the results are so good and the relief so welcome I couldn't wait to post my review. I will add an update to this review in a few weeks.

Game changer product! Ordered to replace the Blink Gel Tears eye drops after getting diagnosed with dry eye at 26. I learned from a fellow dry eyer that using drops and ointments with preservatives made her glands worse so I knew I needed to switch. Preservative filled products seem to be the only kind available in the US so I bought these drops on her recommendation and boy I’m so glad I did!These drops feel so much more natural in the eye than anything else I’ve tried. You don’t know what your missing until you try these. They feel smooth and natural like your own eye made it. I was nervous about the price, but for this kind of comfort I’m content.These are great for all day use. I’ve been using them at night for a month now until I fork over the money to get the Hylo Gel ones, but they’ve been doing well with the Vita-Pos eye ointment and a sleep mask to keep out air drafts.Also, washing my face and eyelids every morning and night has helped a lot by reducing inflammation caused by pollutant particles (Doctor recommended).I really wish these were readily available in the US. It’s hard to tell how much I’ve used in the bottle. I barely waste a drop with the one drop delivery system they’ve created which is really nice, but I still can’t tell how soon I should order another bottle.**Cant be used with products that have preservatives it seems. If used together your eyes will sting and become itchy and hurt for at least 20 mins.
