Singer 1306 Start Sewing Machine, White

This is my first sewing machine and I love it. Very easy to use. Catalog came in Spanish but you can look up videos on YouTube. English version is also available on the internet!

This machine was quick to set up and begin sewing immediately. There are some great tutorial videos put out by Singer on YouTube to help you get the device threaded if you are total newbie.

I like this machine very much. However, the machine advertised was the Singer Start 1304, and the machine I received was the Singer Start 1306. Doesn't seem to be much difference between the two models, and I am very happy with the machine I received. Also, the manual was in Spanish, so I printed an English version off the internet. With the aid of the instructions in the manual and several YouTube videos I was able to get started quickly and have since completed several projects.

Have not purchased a new sewing machine in over 40 years. I am now teaching my youngest granddaughter to sew and tis was a simple machine for her to learn on.

The machine was delivered when we were going away, when I finally had time to try it the machine did not work. Amazon worked with me to let it be returned though it was past the return date when I finally had time to contact them. The seller would not let me return it. I won’t buy from REK529 ever again. I received a damaged product and they did nothing for me.

I was so excited to get my light weight Singer sewing machine. $218. I think it is a good value. I received it today and I only have an instruction book in Spanish. I don't read Spanish. Did I miss that I should have requested an English Instruction Book. Beautiful machine that is useless unless I can read the instructions. I would appreciate getting those English instructions tonight if possible. Sad customer, Barbara
