Like the range of adjustability with the tension of the steering shaft. Wish it had more range of motion even if it was just a little longer shaft like 3.5"

The quality is far higher than the price. The tuning knob is very progressive.

This damper works well for my m365 electric scooter. See picture. A few things to note: the Monorim front suspension mod is required to bolt one end of the damper to (on amazon) the scooter. The front bracket folds underneath to under-drive the dampening effect, otherwise it would be too much, even on the lowest setting. Now it feels perfect. The bracket on the other end of the damper is mounted to the deck with a hole i drilled thru the deck. There isn't anything in the way of drilling this hole. I put a rubber washer between the rear bracket and the damper so the damper wouldn’t flop around loosely. I’m not advising anyone to do this, just saying what i successfully did. Anything you do, is on you.

Easy to install

Operation is smooth, immediate resistance as opposed to some with “free play” prior to actual dampening. I had previously bought another brand from a different site and the difference in quality is surprising. This model is really great especially for the cost.

Well I am a maverick here. With a 25 year career in the motorcycle industry i recognized the capability and ordered this dampener not for a motorcycle, but instead for a set of flight simulation rudder pedals (Crosswind 3's). It works perfectly for my application! And the order fulfillment was super fast, though I needed no color match and ordered black with black fittings. This dampener is very well made with excellent fit, finish, and fittings.

I love it. I’ve increased my speed on corners about 10-20mph with this vs the stock bmw damper, easily. My first test run with this yesterday was fire. I was hitting turns I’d usually take at 70-75, and doing them at 90-110. Hairpins at good speeds were nothing. Had I known you can get a good damper without breaking the bank, I’d have ordered this a long time ago.My gf’s rc8 has an expensive damper with finer adjustments, but I’d take this one over hers any day of the week.It comes with what’s shown. My bike’s pen damper had a standoff built onto it to keep the damper completely horizontal along the bike. This one did not have that, but it was also unnecessary because the eyelets are on swivels, and because there are no obstructions when turning the bike in either direction.

The item came well packed in a foam cushion and the finish is absolutely flawless it works perfectly and the adjustment is very noticeable from soft to hard I highly recommend this product if you need a steering dampener don't let the cost fool you this is a really good product

Used to this as a modification for Thrustmaster TPR Rudder Pedals for helicopter flying and trimming the rudder. Works great but still has a little wiggle room giving a huge dead zone to the rudder, would only recommend it for helicopter pilots. I built mine so I can easily remove them for aircraft flying with a pin lock system.
