very nice tasting pepper with a sweet, slight oiliness and great aroma
Whoops! Very good, no, exceptionally good value for money, 1kg is enough for a string of Turkish restaurants. I think I over ordered as I've filled about 7 jam jars with Aleppo pepper. Otherwise a very nice tasting pepper with a sweet, slight oiliness and great aroma. The heat is low but it does creep up on you. Unless you are a pepperoholic, ignore value for money and get a 200g pack.

Premium Quality
It is really premium quality and it’s really hard to find similar quality like this in Turkey as well. The only point which make me disappointed is not really really hot (spicy). Is it really superb, yess. Is it really really Hot (Spicy), simply no.

Not really hot
We love Pul Biber and Chili flakes a lot, and loved other products from Aksoy like the white beans or bulgur, which is excellent. Sadly these pepper flakes are not really hot...

No heat whatsoever
I do like chilli flakes to be hot, but these are just useful for decoration.There's no heat at all, not any, and I'm basically having chilli flakes as my meal as I put so much on. If you like your food to look red, these are definitely for you, but if you want hot chilli flakes, these definitely aren't for you.

Turkish red hot pepper flakes
Great value product. Arrived quickly and well packaged. These Turkish pepper flakes (also known as Aleppo chilli flakes) have a lovely flavour. Turkish pepper flakes are not as hot as some chilli flakes and these offer the right level of heat. I used them in a Middle Eastern recipe and was very impressed with the taste.
