Cute!
It's literally just a book of a bunch of pretty colors and a few sentences. My daughter is a little over 2 and just enjoys looking at the colors in general and saying their names.

Original color concept book!
This is a fabulous book in concept and design. A pleasure to share with our grandson and one he chooses on his own!

Color My World!
This isn’t your ordinary board book of primary colors. Instead, the world is a rainbow of hues and this book proves that. Show your child there is a whole spectrum of shades. For instance, look at the page with blue, there isn’t just one choice, but twenty-five!Besides the wide variety of colors, cutouts that can be held up to the light are scattered across the book. Children will love peering at them to see how the shades can change depending on the amount of light that comes through. They can also see how the colors look with a white or black background. This large book measures in at 12 ½” by 12 ½” with sturdy pages, that will be enjoyed by children up through three years old. As the pages are turned, the colors can change depending on how it is moved. Get ready for a good time as you explore the world of color with the child in your life, you will both be enchanted by this 5-star book!Candlewick Press has provided Tickmenot with a complimentary copy of, My Favorite Color, for the purpose of review. I have not been compensated in any other manner. All opinions expressed are my own, and I was not required, or influenced, to give anything but an honest appraisal. Love the book, but arrived warped
We already have this book and love it. Bought another copy to gift but it arrived very bent/warped. Trying to press it overnight in hopes that I can flatten it enough to make presentable. Otherwise I'll be returning it and finding one locally at the last minute.

A captivating and interactive book about colors!
Can YOU choose a favorite color? What a fantastic book for introducing color to littles (and for keeping parents engaged too while we read). Kids can eagerly point out their favorite colored tiles…and then watch them transform as the pages are turned. It’s impossible to read this book and not be entranced by the turning of pages and resulting changing colors. The book works by way of using translucent inserts in various colors that change the colored tiles as you read through the book. The back of the book says 4-8, which is a great range for talking through colors and what is happening when the pages are turned, but I think this would be a great baby shower pick or gift for a younger toddler too. I only wish that the book was longer!Thank you to Candlewick Press for providing me with a copy of this book for review! All opinions are my own.

I am fascinated by the way color and light are played with in this creatively-designed board book
I learned early on that when asking children what their favorite color is, it can be as fleeting as the seasons. Today it's yellow and sunny, then blue and free, then green like the sea, then pink and sparkly, then purple and dreamy, then red and fiery...that is the beauty of color...it is in the eye of the beholder. What you see as green, I may see as blue; colors create a deep sense of connection and individuality. This book is absolutely gorgeous and uses a very unique presentation for color exploration. Using colorful grids of small squares with varied translucent inserts and painted squares, the colors shift and transition through each speed. I am fascinated by the way color and light are played with in this creatively-designed board book. The text is simple, but the color play and discussion possibilities with this board book are endless. This is a must-add to your gift list!
