Durable and love the pockets
Very comfortable and did not shrink in washer or dryer. They have held their true color and the fit is true to size. I wash in cold and dry on medium. They are a nice thickness, so great for cooler summer nights and warm in the fall and winter. Pockets are perfect

Soft, comfortable, an excellent value and long-lasting
I have about eight p[airs of these now. They look good and have lasted for years before I had to buy new ones. I do wish the pockets were a bit deeper, but I intend to keep buying them. They are soft and comfortable. The waist is not too tight.

Tighter cuffs & thicker cloth would be nice
Ok sweat pants. The elastic cuffs were too loose, I wish they were tighter, and that the material was thicker too, but for 18-21 bucks, i guess you get what you pay for.

Good Quality/Nice and Soft
I've worn these now for almost three years, so that should tell you of their quality. They fit very well and are very soft. They work for me, and that's what really matters. I'll be ordering a few more in the near future.

PERFECT!!! FAR better than other brands!!!
My 97 yr old father wears sweatpants as pajamas. He was down to one old pair and I needed to buy him new ones, but there were several challenges. First, he had gotten much smaller in size since he last bought pants, and second, there was no longer a label in his only remaining pair. Dad is fussy... like Goldielocks... the pants can't be too tight at the waist, or too baggie in the legs, or not soft enough, and must have pockets and an adjustable drawstring. Maybe he's more like Mr. Pitt from Seinfeld (with the socks, haha). So I bought every brand of sweatpants I could find. Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, Champion, Amazon Essentials, Jerzees, the list goes on and on. As I opened all of the packages I could immediately tell they would not work. Stiff material, no pockets, waistband not stretchy or too small, not heavy enough, too heavy, too long, etc. THEN I OPENED THE RUSSELL SWEATPANTS. Ahhhhhh they seemed just right. Soft material, nice stretchy waistband, perfect weight, size looked perfect. The waistband even has a noticeable cushiony feel too it, compared to all the others. So dad tried them on, LOVED THEM. Mission accomplished. We only tried on one of the other brands and he immediately snapped "give me that first pair back! (the Russell) That's the pair I want!"So all the other brands were returned and we ordered 8 more of the Russell, and matching sweatshirts too! Dad is now happy and can sleep comfortably! Thank you Russell!!!

Feels cheap, but you get what you pay for
The fabric feels scratchy and cheap, not as thick or plush as other brands. The crotch is very low down (this is fine if you want a high waist). Comfy enough for the price.

Draw string issues.
I have worn Russell Athletic Dri-Power Fleece Sweatpants for 20 plus years in 1 countries and I have never seen such poor quality as these. 1st pair wore them 3 times and draw string went. Well sad to say every NEW style pair all have the draw string gone in them. Russell seams to be going down hill or they are finding places to make them at very bad spots as it wouldn't take much during them being made to double or triple stitch the string. What a waist of money and honestly my old pairs even 1 pair from 16 years ago has lasted longer then these. Think twice on these and no it isn't just a bad batch as I bought many new pairs this last year and they ALL have the same issue as the draw string pops on the back where they attach them. Just a thought maybe use a draw string that circles the entire sweat pants instead of sowing them in the back seams. Pathetic and shocked I have worn Russell Athletic Dri-Power Fleece Sweatpants for 20 plus years in 2 countries and I have never seen such poor quality as these. 1st pair wore them 3 times and draw string went. Well sad to say every NEW style pair all have the draw string gone in them at the same place. What a waist of money and honestly my old pairs even 1 pair from 16 years ago has lasted longer then these. Russell Athletic is not Athletic wear at all now. BEWARE All 6 pairs in under a year all broken with the same issue. The draw string comes out with very little force.
