This set is perfect for not just cast iron but multiple dishes due to the included items. The silicon handle works well for the cast iron pot, the chainmail and brush do great at cleaning any leftover residue, and the scrapers are great for both cast iron and regular pans to get any burnt spices off! Why did you pick this product vs others?:As a new cast iron user, this set is a must! The quality is great. I use the stainless steel scrubber everyday. It’s easy to clean, and doesn’t hold a smell. The pot holder has been able to fit on a variety of my cast irons and creates a good hold that doesn’t allow heat to be felt. All other items included have shown their quality as well. Definitely consider this set for yourself or your cast iron loving friend.

I’ve only had this for two days but have cooked every meal in it so far including sticky teriyaki chicken and rice and eggs (which is always hard for me to get off the pan). The soap works amazing! I literally can use two drops, run some light water over it, scrub gently then dump in sink and it gets everything stuck to it off. Use the oil after and it shines.As a new cast iron owner, these will be so helpful for me and can’t recommend this set enough! Also like how the chain scrubber comes with a hook.Not sure how to use the black scrubbers yet but hopefully can find some use for them.Simply amazing!!

cast iron life saver!! i love the scrapers and the handle, i cant used the metal scrub yet but every is made with great quality!

The chain mail scrubber is really small, but it does do a good job.The silicon handle doesn't fit Lodge Cast iron pans, as a result I use potholders which I have done since I started cooking.The stiff bristle brush is ok for difficult stuck on residue, but the chain mail does too. I haven't found a use for the little scrapers.As kit it’s ok. I should have bought a larger chain scrubber.
