We are so happy with these portable blackout shades! We use them for our infant’s room at our vacation home, which gets direct sun all day—and they’ve been a total game-changer. Our baby sleeps so much better now, even during daytime naps. The material is thick and truly blocks out *all* light, which has been a lifesaver for keeping a consistent sleep schedule away from home.They’re also super easy to put up and take down. This was perfect for our family beach vacation. It worked great, suction was strong and it almost covered the entire sliding glass door in our room. Perfect for blocking out the morning sun shining right into the window. Very thick blackout material. Glad I didn’t spend $$$$ on the name brand one, this thing does the job perfectly and half the price!

There are absolutely amazing. They’re so easy to put up and can be modified to fit a wide variety of window sizes and shapes. We can literally get them up in less than five minutes. The pattern is still fun for kids but definitely blocks light. I love the carrying case too! They’re pretty thick which also helps with temperature control for drafty windows. However because they’re thick they are quite heavy which might make packing them for air travel challenging. Completely worth the money.

The media could not be loaded. I used this when we are not at home so don’t have our typical blackout curtains set-up.Pros: block out light well, love the size, lightweight, easy to install, star & moon design is cute and looks good, black & white color is nice, good value for the moneyCons: suction cups detach from fabric easily (shown in video) and really only stick to certain surfaces (though there is the Velcro option too), for that reason I would say stability is only ok since the curtains can easily break on accident unfortunately- fixable, but not ideal, still would recommend for an easy blackout option when traveling

I ordered the oversized version of these blackout curtains, and they did not disappoint. As a renter, drilling into walls is not an option for me, so I needed something that could attach securely without causing damage. These curtains come with suction cups around the entire perimeter and additional Velcro strips, making them easy to install and adjust.The light-blocking performance is impressive—my room becomes very dark, which is perfect for sleeping during the day (I work night shifts). There is a slight amount of light leakage around the stitching, but it’s minor and not noticeable when you’re trying to sleep.Installation was straightforward, although I’d recommend cleaning the windows beforehand to help the suction cups adhere better. I also suggest measuring your window and resizing the curtains on a flat surface. Attempting to resize directly on the window was tricky but doable.While appearance wasn’t a priority for me, these curtains are functional and get the job done. I didn’t notice any significant noise reduction or temperature control benefits, but for blackout purposes, they’re excellent. Given their easy setup, I also consider them very renter-friendly; they’re easy to remove and reapply, which makes them great for future moves.In summary, these blackout curtains are highly effective, renter-friendly, and easy to install. Just remember to clean your windows first, and you’ll get the best possible result.

Make sure your windows are cleaned before placing it. Otherwise the suction cups won't stay on long. They are super long, lot longer than my average size windows. Keeps my room dark, worked great for when I did overnights. Liked them so much, I kept them up after I went back to p.m shift. Weight isn't too heavy at all, feels durable. Does what they are intended to do.

I rarely leave reviews, but I was really impressed with these black out shades. These were great. We had our grandson for a week, he sleeps in an extremely dark room. We put these in 4 large windows. They were easy to install. They stayed up great. Not a single suction cup came loose. They really blocked the light. They also blocked noise. I got them for a great price and they were worth every penny. The color was a dull white that looked fine behind my white shutters. We have temporarily put them in our bedroom because it is 4th of July and they will help block out the noise of all the fireworks.

Worked well until two suction cups broke off. Kept room cool in summer time and blocked out the flood lights outside of our house well. Disappointed it broke but may buy again.
