The XRDS-RF KMR 400 UHF Coaxial Cable is a 25ft, low-loss coax jumper designed for optimal performance in CB, HAM, and marine radio applications. With a VSWR of less than 1.35 and ultra-low signal attenuation, this cable is built to withstand harsh environments while ensuring secure and reliable connections.

Essentially Flat Line - Normal Power Attenuation - Comparable VSWR
Since my analyzer was out on loan, I approached this 25 foot length of coax with a comparison test with another of the same length, size, and impedance.Since the velocity factor of the cable was not given, that fact induced me to do this simple but effective comparison test.I attached a this 25 foot length of cable to my 80 Watt two meter transceiver via the power, standing wave meter. The antenna output was sent through the coax under test to a 50 ohm dummy load. The test revealed that the loss was negligible. For the same power in to the the dummy load the loss was only about 1 watt. Keep in mind that this was only an A/B comparison test. There was no change in the VSWR. That is to be expected and also a good sign. The next step was to hookup another one 25 foot length of coax line from a well known and respected manufacturer. The results were so nearly identical it was really difficult to judge which cable was the winner. Suffice to say, the test results satisfied me that the coax is of comparable quality and represents an excellent value.I also closely visually examined the attachment of the PL 259. Nice neat clean blob of solder visible at the hole of the center pin. No telltale evidence of rosin that could be the result of a cold joint.O forcefully moved the cable back and forth while in a key down mode to test for any breaks. Things were rock solid with no change in the power output or the VSWR.I am quite satisfied that this is a good low loss feed line at a modest price for a one hundred foot length.Another value bonus. The PL-259 connectors are preinstalled. For all, I am giving this item a FULL FIVE STARS.I hope you can get that whopper of a wide spaced beam up there and can work some DX.A couple of days ago Six was open till almost Ten PM. Good DX contacts. In my opinion this coax should serve you well, and It is designed to get high power to that antenna.Been there done that, for sure.

Heavy cable, quality PL259s
It's VERY good cable. I'm aware that it doesn't sweep same SWR / impedance as Times Microwave LMR400 but I'm getting a great lead from my SWL antenna here for the price.

Does the job
Seems to be of good quality with good connectors. It is fairly stiff but no more than other brands. I have good SWRs with my antennas.

Better then RG58 for 467mhz
Do not try and compare it to LMR400 and it should be decentI gave 4 stars because Amazon likes to ship coax in a bag. all it takes is something heavy to crush and deform coax or something heavy fall on it and basically pinch it. When this happens it changes the characteristics of the coax. One end of coax had a very sharp bend pushed into center of the roll. Nice one.

High quality and a great price
High quality coaxial cables. It is installed on a slim Jim antenna at 40 ft.Highly recommend

Decent quality
I use it in my garage to connect my ht with with an antenna. Much better than using the stock rubber ducky!

Great Cable!
I purchased this cable for my exterior run for my VHF base station. My SWR is showing sub 1.2 readings, and that includes other cables and connectors. It runs 25’ from the second story roof edge to the first story. The cable was well priced and appears to be performing well.

Good stuff
Good stuff. I have been using KMR 400 for HF. No problems worth the money. I can't tell any difference between the KMR and LMR.
