Great for the office
No longer making a whole pot in the office just to return to another empty pot! "Thank God someone made coffee"... No Sharon. Looks like you have to learn to make coffee now.

This travel mug literally keeps my tea hot all day.
This travel mug literally keeps my tea hot all day. I have tiny hands and this sleek design is the perfect size, totally functional. I travel with mine everywhere and love it. It also doesn't scratch easy so that is a perk. I have had it for a few months and it still looks new!

Holes on lids and it leaks
The lid smells so bad as other reviewers mentioned. It's like cheap tire rubber. There are ventilation holes on the lid, so I cannot carry it around in the backpack side pocket. The filter works well. It's good if you use it to drink a cup of coffee at home. I brew around 7am and it's warm until 11am. Hot for maybe couple hours.

Very durable and not a scratch on it!
I use mine in a steel mill I have found it very durable and the paint has held up unlike any cup I have used. Yes the lid takes a little getting use to but the filter is very affective.

Nice press that would be much better with a plastic lid
This travel French press has its pros and cons. I have another brand (BruTrek) that I have loved, except that it doesn’t fit in my cup holder in my car (it does fit in my husband’s larger cup holders in his truck). That’s why I ordered this one. This is a great size, fits in my cup holder, and I can make 12 oz of Crio Bru, which is nice. The cons are that it is hard to push down the plunger. The filter has very small holes, which keep the grounds separated from the drink, but you have to be very patient and slow when you push down the plunger! The other con (and this is a bigger one for me) is that the lid is rubber, not plastic. It smells faintly like a tire when I take a drink, which is a little unpleasant. Also, being rubber, it seems to attract every piece of lint and dust in its vicinity. It washes off easily with water, but if you try to wipe it away with a cloth, even a paper towel, particles from the towel cling the lid. It’s not so bad I won’t use it, but it would be better if it had a plastic lid.

First Time French Presser - Excellent Purchase!
I've been unhappy with the taste of my coffee from my Black and Decker Drip Coffee maker, which has made my coffee tasting burnt and bitter. No bueno! I've been reading about how french pressed coffee tastes so good and have been wanting to try it, but didn't want to invest too much in case this french press thing wasn't for me. Well, to my delight, I loved it, and this baby really delivered! It was easy to use (once I got the filter out, which was a bit challenging the first time). The process is no more difficult than it was for my drip coffee maker. I just measure my water into a glass measuring cup, microwave it for 3 minutes to reach the right temp (between 195 and 205 degrees), add my ground beans (I used 3 heaping tablespoons of medium ground beans), pour the water over, and let it sit 3 minutes. Then insert the press and push down to the bottom. I had a perfect mug of coffee with no burnt or bitter taste! The last sip was a bit strong, but just the little extra kick of caffeine I needed for the last sip of coffee for the day -- and was delighted that there were NO GROUNDS in it! This travel press/mug is perfect for me since I only drink one big cup of coffee daily in the morning so really didn't need or want a larger capacity press. And cleaning was simple! Simply remove the silicone top, twist and pull out the insert, add a little water to the part with the grounds to loosen them up, threw the water with the grounds into the flower bed (beneficial to the soil), and then wash the parts quickly and easily with a bottle brush. Goodbye to the bulky coffee maker on my countertop and no more need to buy coffee filters. Very pleased with this purchase!

Good coffee, stinky lid
Just got this yesterday and was super excited to use it bc I have a road trip coming up and wanted to test it out before I leave. It makes a really nice cup of coffee. I have been using a French press for years so the process isn’t unfamiliar to me. I prefer to drink from the cup itself unless I’m moving around and unfortunately you cannot do that with this cup, I tried and bc of the metal I burned my lips. So I put the lid on and ooof it smells so bad! I washed it with Dawn before using it but there is a terrible smell to this material which I can only compare to a dirty diaper :/ every time I take a sip I’m trying not to inhale. If this cup was a standard size I could put one of my other Yeti tumbler lids on it but it’s skinnier than that :/ too bad I had high hopes.UPDATE:I washed it a few more times and the bad smell went away. I wanted to leave my original review in case someone noticed the same thing and panics :) don’t worry just keep using it ;)
