Celiacs can eat East Indian foods...
These have a good variety of flavors; and as a celuac- I serve these with either trading rice, or potatoes. At restaurants, it is more difficult, as there is only one bread that celiacs can eat. Because those are not usually offered, I have these at home. Excellent taste, and value. I keep buying various combinations.

Delicious
I ate it over basmati rice and loved it! A very satisfying protein source for me. Loved the spice level. For me, the medium heat label fits. It was about as much as I can handle so it was perfect! So warm and comforting.

Just ok
These heat up more quickly than another brand I've bought here, but the flavor was just so-so. There was something a bit acidic about the flavor, hard to describe. It wasn't fully unpleasant, just not the sort of profile I'm used to with Indian food.

So tasty and convenient
I really loved the chickpea tikka masala, so purchased the multi-pack of this option right away. All of the selections were lovely. I am the only vegan in our household so having these convenient healthy meal alternatives is wonderful. When I make animal based meals for my clan, I can pop one of these bad boys in the microwave for a minute and be plenty full and happy. So glad I gave these a try.

A favorite from Saffron Road but still not up to Cumin Club level
So many ready to eat meals are high in sodium. Saffron Road is healthier than most but still a bit saltier than if you cooked it from scratch yourself. The spice level is an improvement in this particular dish, "Bombay Lentils" (aka, "Dal Makhani"), over other Saffron Road dishes. Most tend to favor the milder spice level to appeal to a wider crowd and that is understandable. But, it is a great disappointment to those of us who love Indian Cuisine precisely because of the exciting spice combinations. Having discovered the competing Cumin Club brand which has less salt and more of the spices I love, I limit my use of the Saffron Road products. The Cumin Club dishes are as simple as adding hot water and stirring - which is barely more work than simply tossing in the microwave. But, the taste is a game changer. Although Saffron Road is superior to any of the other 'ready-to-eat' brands I have tried, it still lacks the authenticity and superior flavor of The Cumin Club meals.

great taste, easy to fix
tried the delhi potatos, tasted great, ready to eat after 60 seconds in the microwave, would I purchase again, a little on the expensive side, maybe if the price dropped, I'd buy again for sure.
