The pink color is soft and feminine. The quality of the bottle is great. Easy storage in the fridge and my work bag. It’s easy to open and no leaking. I definitely feel it’s a great value and no more plastic throw away water bottles. Great for the environment.

Used this filter water bottle on a recent 2 week trip to the Netherlands, it is an excellent water bottle and so convenient to fill anywhere. We saved a lot of euros and plastic by using these water bottles everywhere we went. The water tasted good and the bottle DID NOT LEAK.

Love this purchase.1. It does make water taste better. The other reviews that say this are spot on. We've stopped buying most ind water bottles thanks to Brita.2. The 26oz size makes it invaluable for longer plane rides and other trips where you won't be able to refill for awhile.3. Even though it's a larger size, it fits easily in my various backpack water bottle pockets. I've tried several smaller bottles that didn't fit due to their width.4. Easy to clean.Some items to note:1. You need to get used to just sucking through the straw. Other bottles I've used you have to tip. If you do that with this bottle you will get water dribbling on you. (through a little whole inside the cap - it does not leak)2. I had to learn to be careful how I remove the cap/filter to refill. There will be a little bit of water in the straw and you either need to go slow for a second to let that water fall back in the bottle, or do it over a sink.Neither of those change my overall impression of the bottle. Absolutely love it.

I originally used the metal version of this water version, but lost it so I ordered this one to replace it. One thing I like more than the metal version is that this one is see-through, which makes it easier to see if any impurities need cleaning. The bottle is also significantly less heavy than the metal version, which I like because I usually fill it up and bring it along when attending classes and it is lightweight enough that it doesn't weigh down on my backpack. I would definitely recommend this for university students who need filtered water bottles on the go. I find it easier to use than a fill-up pitcher as I can use it on the go as as well as at home.The one thing downside of using this water bottle is the suction spout mechanism. It is a bit awkward to suck on the spout, but I was able to get used to it very quickly. The major issue is with cleaning as there is not a way to fully detach that part to clean. It can get pretty nasty, so I would recommend getting a small brush to clean it. Beware, the charcoal filter can sometimes leave the inside with some black residue that look like mold, but is just residue. Definitely clean at least once a week.

Good quality water bottle. I like that it’s slim in design and easy to hold. You do have to get the extra filters to change out, but they aren’t to badly priced and you can also change out the drinking spout which is nice.

UPDATE: Big shout out to Dillon from Brita Customer Care who sent a new silicone straw spout plus installation instructions IN COLOR in three day! No weird smell coming from it this time, so I'm drinking more water now ... oh, and the taste is fine.1st REVIEW:Spent months looking for a small water bottle with an attached cap. A friend introduced me to this one. I've had it for one day - not sure about the taste of the water yet ... will update.PROS:1. The cap is hinged, so A) can't drop/lose cap while drinking, and B) straw stays cleaner than bottles with an exposed, folded straw.2. The bottle is plastic, so A) it's lightweight, and B) you can enjoy room-temp water more quickly.3. The bottle is clear, so peace of mind regarding what's in it.4. You drink via straw, so A) no spilling water on your face if you get bumped or transportation gets rocky, and B) line-of-sight unobstructed while drinking - no tilting of your head to drink.CONS:1. Silicone straw spout smells funny; fruity, but not in a good way; like a thermos found with 2-day old coffee with cream and sugar in it. (Hand-washed twice. Hopefully, smell will dissippate over time.)2. Bottle and handle colors are slightly off - don't match. Clear plastic bottle is a blush pink/peach color, but silicone handle is just blush pink.3. Bigger than what I was looking for (26 oz. was the smallest), so it won't fit inside my medium-sized purse, but A) it has a handle, B) if Ifill it up, maybe I'll drink more water, and C) I can always fill it halfway to make it weigh less.
