ASICS Men's Gel-Lyte V G-Tx Ankle-High Leather Running Shoe

Sturdy, a great sneaker for cool or very cold weather. Probably okay in warm weather. Looks more "stylish" on my foot than on the computer screen. Probably will outlast most sneakers/sports shoes and price is great. Doesn't have quite the foot support some of my other Asics have. Thought it would be a little heavy to wear during a 12 hour shift on my feet but pretty much forgot that I was wearing a heavier shoe.Possible drawback is that it is a heavier, sturdier shoe and may not breath as much as a more expensive mesh shoe that will only last a couple of years or so.

I wore these today. Love them! A couple weeks back a guy at the gas station told me my shoe game is on point while wearing these. That’s funny because when I first saw them I asked my brother if he thought they were tight or ugly. He said tight. Additionally, I like them because it rains a lot during the summer, and the gore-tex is practical, although warm. The grip on the sole is kind of slippery too. So if that’s important I would suggest a little more rugged style hiker. But these are comfortable shoes for walking. They were also the perfect size from my nikes or new balance. Pretty cool shoe all-in-all for the price, and I’ve never seen anyone else in them.

Wow! I guess i should have paid attention to the reviews of former buyers of this shoe. I wear a sz 10 and am more likely a 9.5. Ordered the 10 in this asics gel lyte V and was quite tight fitting. So i went up a half size to 10.5 and I notice no diff at all. Shoe is very nice looking but happy feet are better. The shoe is set more for a womans foot I suppose.

Love the color and the construction. I’m a sucker for goretex shoes. Unfortunately they’re way too small. I’m not sure that going a size up will help as they’re not just too short. They’re small in every direction. If I take the insoles out they kinda fit but still too narrow. It’s as if the sole and shell didn’t get retooled and they added layers for the goretex on the inside.

Not bad shoes. But I’m not too fond of the inner lining and how it’s one piece with the tongue. Makes the top of the shoe around the ankle look frumpy/puffy. Doesn’t look good with my style. Sent them back

So comfortable, like walking on air. The gel outsole hugs and embraces your feet and you don't really even need to tie your shoes to walk around in these. And I cannot tell you how many compliments I have had from people on the style of These shoes! Everybody seems to love how cool they look!

This is my 2nd pair of Gel Lyte V by Asics. I buy them 1/2 size larger due to a very snug fit. This is especially true on this model due to the Gore Tex lining. For the price, quality, and being fully waterproof/breathable, this is a steal. These shoes are worth about $150.
