Out of the box, these are an incredibly <i>incompetent</i> set of headphones...that can be made perfectly acceptable with some simple software tweaks.<h1>The bad:</h1>The audio quality is garbage. Possibly the worst I've heard outside of crappy earbuds. The speakers are brutally far from neutral, leaning waaaaay into the bass range (like most "gamer" headsets), and yet they aren't engineered well enough to handle that spectrum, making everything sound distorted and muffled, like you are listening to music through a wall. Thankfully, this can be compensated for in their provided software (see below).There is substantial noise that can be heard when not listening to anything. 1 part static, 1 part high pitched whine. Slight noise isnt uncommon on inexpensive wireless gear, as interference from the battery/internal amp/etc is costly to shield but, the whine drives me nuts Younger people will hate it even more. Thankfully, this can also be compensated for in software (see below).Comfort wise they are pretty rough. The foam on top is rather hard, and the design is quite large (I have a huge head and only go two clicks) meaning that when they sag, it will put some pressure on the top of your noggin. The ear pads are of similar hardness, expect some soreness after an hour or two. Keep in mind that this sort of thing is difficult to gauge within the first 6 months on inexpensive headphones, as things are always a little hard and tight before breaking in.<h1>The Good:</h1>Looks wise, these are pretty nice. They arent a fashion accessory, not every headset can be a 500 dollar pair of Master & Dynamic's, but as far as the "gamer" look goes, these arent too offensive. They don't stick out too far, and the matte black with candy apple accents don't look cheap and arent offensive. Also, the LEDs are nifty (albeit a little problematic, see below). I use the colors to distinguish my pair from my girlfriends, which is convenient.Price? Doesnt get better! Possibly the most inexpensive wireless gaming headset worth buying.Performance, as mentioned, out of the box is just the worst, but after a few tweaks, they perform as well as any 20-60 dollar <i>wired</i> gaming headset, except these are wireless! For most brands, that usually means a straight 100% markup! More specifically, once properly tuned, these perform fine in the mids and highs. The high bass range isnt great (those hip hop beats), but luckily the low bass range (rumble) is surprisingly good, which is great for movies and games. Definitely a good bang for the buck and worth the money IMHO.<h1> The problems and how to fix them</h1>This section assumes you have no knowledge of audio and want to tune using creatives drivers/suite.Right off the bat, windows sound>playback>configure>follow the wizard and set to "full range" speakers. You never really want windows modifying a signal unless you have a really old-school setup and no built in crossovers.You are going to want to swing over to Creatives website and grab thesoftware suite (firmware update is up to you). Once setup, open up the Tactic Control panel, and jump to the "SBX Pro Studio" tab. Disable everything but the "Crystalizer", which I set to 40%. Im not big on enhancements (things are already properly "enhanced" in the studio), but this treble booster rounds out the highs well, making up for hardware faults, which is much needed here.Next, hop on over to the Equalizer tab. Turn that badboy on, and drop the base (farthest left, labeled "31") to about 1/3 of the meter, then pump the treble (farthest right labeled 16k) to about 2/3s. Adjust everything else to make a nice line going between the two, the end result looking like a nice smooth ramp. From here, (since the speakers do handle the lowest of lows well), you can bring the farthest left dial back up to a point that suits your taste, but keep everything else the same. See image for my preferred settings.If you find that your headset is very loud at the lowest volume settings, you can bring the overall volume down with the "levels" slider on the right, giving you more flexibility when adjusting volume through windows.Finally, you will notice that the LEDs add tons of noise to the Signal. A high pitched pulsating whine is pretty common with these headphones. If you go to the "SB Prism" tab and set the intensity to "medium" you can get rid of 80% of that noise. "Low" will take it down even further, or simply turn it all the way off for the best audio quality.Congrats, you now have a decent wireless headset!

The headphones sound great .. for my tin ears anyway. My only problem seems to be a possible software issue, (possibly my PC). The headset works great until I get mid-game, (mostly Dying Light and FarCry 4), then the sound suddenly goes out. I quit out of the game and go to the volume control for windows to try to turn it back up, but it keeps going back to zero instantly (I can hear the ding for a volume change, but the indicator goes right back to zero), and I cannot figure out why. The volume control also gets a dotted/dashed line/square all around the volume control slide. I've tried re-installing the drivers and nothing happens. I also try the re-pairing sequence without success. It does come back 60 - 80% of the time after a reboot. I still give it 4 stars for the sound quality and the control panel software and the freedom to get up and go something without creating wear and tear by taking them off and putting them back on, but the having to reboot issue is annoying.

I've had this set for a little over 10 days and while the first week was superb, the last few... not so much. Started getting this weird beeping noise that can be attributed to the USB receiver not properly connecting with an active headset. Mind you, I am about 2-3 feet away from my PC or PS4, depending on the situation. I've gone and downloaded the latest firmware (SBTR_PCFW_US_1_59) and drivers (SBTR_WL_USB_PCDRV_L13_1_02_0025) and manually reconnected the pair multiple times. Turned them off, Charged them for a day while at work. Tried different USB ports. Nothing seems to work to keep the pair connected as I keep hearing the connecting beep intermittently. There appears to be no rhyme or reason for this. I've looked for similar stories on Creative's website and elsewhere. Nothing I can verify that matches exactly what seems to be happening with this particular headset. I am definitely NOT going to get another of these and going back to a wired headset as soon as humanly possible. I've been a fan of Creative for years, but this is not a good experience despite the 3 star review.

To begin with,sound quality is simply adequate for a regular gamer in my opinion.It has tons of customization features to adjust the sound to your needs.The software provided is called SBX Pro Studio and is quite useful to create profiles for watching movies,listening to music,playing games and change color of your earcups and even turn your voice into an elderly man and etc.In addition I really enjoyed scout mode since it gives you a certain advantage in FPS games like CoD,CS:GO,Battlefield.However,when you first wear the headset on,its kinda tight(ish) but as you use it for a while it gets to feel better and better on your head.Before i add up there s a little tip that i found out on creative customer support:-Do NOT connect the wireless transmitter to one of your front panel USB slots.You MUST plug it into one of your back panel USB slots so that it ll work fine without signal losses and etc.

Love these. I had a version 1 pair and the circuit board broke (I dont know if it got dropped or something).After looking around and trying other headsets, I came back to these. Combo it with the creative software that you can tweak to your liking and these are some of the best headsets (sound quality) around!Another factor in selecting headsets if I have a big head, and a lot are too tight or will break. These guys have a bit of a break in but once they do, they are great.There are only 2 real things I dont really like about these1) The microphone length is a bit short (i wish it was more infront of my mouth)2) the plastic around the ear piece can break.**You can fix 2 with some hot glue, but it will force the headset to stay in that position, so do it right!

Después de probar con varios auriculares wireless, incluso más caros, con resultados nefastos (gran cantidad de ruido blanco especialmente en silencios, volúmenes bajos, mala recepción en distancia...), por fin con estos cascos he conseguido algo que se adapte a lo que buscaba.Aunque transmitan en RF, al ser la señal digital te aseguras que no pueda haber interferencias de ningún tipo. La calidad de sonido es realmente buena sin software añadido, tanto los sonidos más sutiles como la explosión más bestia suenan de vicio, la potencia es realmente grande (a más de 40% de volumen te puedes dejar los oídos), y ya usando el centro de control para Windows se le da un extra de funcionalidades que lo hacen, en pc, una opción muy completa como virtual 7.1 (que tampoco es que me importe mucho, pero mejor tenerlo que no), y demás efectos que permiten ajustar perfectamente la experiencia auditiva. Son directamente compatibles con PS4, de manera nativa, es simplemente enchufar el usb y la consola los reconoce como si fuera cualquier headset que enchufes al mando, todo sin hacer nada más, y suenan brutales como en PC igualmente.Al contrario que se comenta aquí, los encontré muy cómodos, la almohadilla superior no me resultó especialmente molesta, las orejas me caben enteras dentro de cada orejera y para mí tienen el peso perfecto como para no haberme molestado en más de una hora de juego, pero estas cosas son más personales y dependen mucho de cada cual.La distancia de recepción es más que correcta, me he alejado hasta más de 5 m y no ha habido corte alguno. La batería más que suficiente, tras probarlo este fin de semana unas 4-5 horas apenas ha empezado a bajar el indicador de batería.Pros:- calidad de audio excelente. Gran potencia y sonido limpio.- cero interferencias y buena distancia de recepción de señal.- si tienes PC la experiencia mejora mucho con el software incorporado.- compatible con PS4 de manera rápida y directa- buena duración de batería.- por el precio al que están es una gran opción.En el lado negativo, no obstante, hay algunas cosillas que deberían haberse mejorado:- el micrófono es extraíble, no se puede plegar. Los cascos tampoco pueden plegarse, lo que hace recomendable un soporte de diadema para guardarlos correctamente (y que no viene de serie).- aunque los cascos se puedan cargar perfectamente mientras juegas, no viene incluido ningún adaptador de enchufe y te obliga a cargar los cascos con algún aparato encendido que envíe carga por usb (aunque vale cualquiera de 5V del móvil, pero por lo que cuestan se podría haber incluido uno).- aunque sean compatibles con PS4 de forma nativa, las funciones por software como el 7.1 virtual no funcionan en PS4, sólo estéreo. Una pena que Sony no libere su 7.1 virtual por software para todos los auriculares que se conecten y no sólo para los propietarios.

Ich habe das Headset gestern erhalten, weshalb das hier erstmal eine vorläufige Bewertung ist, ich bin aber optimistisch, das sich daran nichts ändern wird ;)Auch wenn der Preis von knapp 100€ meiner Meinung nach ziemlich heftig für ein Headset ist, muss ich doch sagen das ich froh bin es gekauft zu haben.Positiv anzumerken ist, das dieses Headset die längste (theoretisch) Betriebszeit in dieser Preisklasse hat.Beim auspacken fällt sofort auf das es sehr hochwertig verpackt ist. Auch von der haptik ist es sehr überzeugend. Klasse verarbeitet, auch das metallic-rot am Bügel und das schwarz stehen um guten Kontrast zueinander. Designtechnisch gefällt es mir sehr gut.Allein die Tatsache mich vollkommen kabellos in fast meiner gesamten Wohnung ( 49m², außer Schlafzimmer da 2 Steinwände ) bewegen kann ist absolut großartig.Kein Kabel mehr das sich verdreht, oder über das man mit dem Schreibtischstuhl rollt usw. Klasse!Jetzt mal zu den Fakten.Wie schon gesagt Bewegungsfreiheit durch eine Steinwand hindurch kein Problem und auch keine Qualitätseinbußen.Auch mit 10-12 Wlan Hotspots in der Nähe habe ich keinerlei Verbindungsabbrüche oder Aussetzer, trotzd selben 2,4 GHZ Frequenzband. KLASSE!Das Micro ist abnehmbar, was ich echt klasse finde.Auch der Sound des Micros ist super, wie mir Freunde bestätigt haben, absolut nicht blechern sondern klar, laut und verständlich.Den Tragekomfort empfinde ich als sehr angenehm ( und ich habe nicht den kleinsten Kopf ), kein drücken o.ä.Das einzige was mich etwas stört ist das man nach einer Weile doch anfängt zu schwitzen, durch das Kunstleder. Das war bei meinem alten Headset mit Stoffbezug angenhmer.Der Sound ist durchaus klasse.Wenn man sich die Soundblaster Systemsteuerung installiert, sollte man sich jedoch ein wenig damit beschäftigen, denn nicht jedes Profil passt zu jeder Situation.FPS Profil ist beispielsweise nicht sonderlich zum Musik hören geeignet.Die Sache mit den Profilen finde ich aber sehr gelungen und einmal eingestellt ist es auch schnell gewechselt so das man für jede Situation die passenden Einstellungen hat.Das Thema Surround ist für mich nicht so wirklich erkennbar, kann aber auch nur ne Einstellungssache sein, da bin ich noch dran.Im großen und ganzen ein sehr wertiges Headset, mit klasse Sound vielen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten, gutem Micro, angenehmen Tragekomfort und das wichtigste kabellos.Ob man das SB Prism braucht lasse ich dahingestellt. Es sieht super aus, hat aber keinen wirklichen Nutzen außer vielleicht zum visuellen überprüfen des eingestellten Profils ( wenn verwendet ), es kann aber auch ausgestellt werden.Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn:Von mir gibt es jedenfalls eine klare Kaufempfehlung

I must point out that this headset has only had around 2-3 hours use so far as I only got it yesterday.First impressions were good. Well packaged but not overboard on it, good quality looking item with a sturdy looking construction. Everything was clipped into place and the only assembly required was to plug in the 3.5mm jack into the headset for the Mic.The headset isn't particularly heavy in any way and when I first put it on I was pleased with the weight. They gripped my head a little to tightly at first after a few minutes but a small adjustment of the head band sorted that out. This was really easy to do and the notches in it are very stiff and need a little force to snap into place exactly where you want them. This is a sign of quality to me and show that the headband, once set up for you, shouldn't move and so far it hasn't.Tested out the Mic with a friend online who said I sounded deeper with a little more bass but that the sound was very very clear and crisp. Again, small adjustment of the Mic position (straight out from the headset instead of curling around my Jaw) got to a comfortable voice tone.Now the best bit! The sound! These things really do pack a wallop. VERY loud if you want them to be. The volume adjustment is on the left ear cup and is very smooth. Sound can be easily changed when needed. You get a good range of lows and mids, the bass is quite incredible. Play a Drum n Bass track on Youtube or something Classical with a nice bass arrangement and you'll see what I mean. Compared to my previous (half the price) headset the Tactic 3D just blows them away. The cups cancel noise almost entirely from your surroundings. You can make you people talking to you if they are close enough and I could hear my Door Bell ring but the sound wasn't up high when that happened. All round good noise reduction though.The software... I had to go to Creative's site to get this. I got a broken link from the product page which wasn't good but there is direction to the newest drivers and software suite from there. Easy to install. Just pop the USB receiver in and Windows should install it as the actual product (nothing generic). I then installed the suite from Creative myself. This is also really really easy to use and looks pretty nice too. It has a good UI and the voice FX feature is quite funny if you fancy a laugh. All in all it's everything you should expect from this sort of software in the gaming market. There are several profiles you can setup as well as pre-installed ones which allow you to use Creative's setup based on game genre, FPS, MMO, RTS etc etc. They are already there and can just be selected from a drop down menu. There is also the "prism" section of the software suite which allows you to customise the colours on the outside of the cups on the headset. This is instantaneous and works really well, there's a load of different colours to pick and is also a neat little feature if you want to make it look flash !Just remember not to go mad and run around using them straight out of the box, you should really charge them up (and I did) for around 8 hours before you use them and there's a Micro USB cable provided for you to do that which also acts as a play n charge cable when the batteries get low from use. Creative claim 16 hours, I think this seems about right too from my usage so far. There is a battery indicator in the software suite so you know whats happening with your battery level.All in all so far good. Can't complain about anything yet. Will update when or if anything changes but I am happy with my purchase so far. For approx £70 you get a lot and its good quality from a name in computing sound that's been around for ages and ages. I expected them to get this right and so far they have done.

Lieferung und verpackung ließen keinerlei bleibenden eindrücke. Verpackung ist angemessen gesichert auch wenn etwas groß für den inhalt.Das headset lies zunächst einen etwas instabilen eindruck aufkommen, da die verbindungspunkte zwischen kopf band und ohrmuschel ziemlich dünn schienen. Diese bedenken ließen sich jedoch durch bisherige mehr monatige nutzung nicht bestätigen. ansonsten lässt die verarbeitung dennoch nicht den eindruck aufkommen, dass es sich hier um ein vergleichsweise billiges produkt handelt. Ausname bildet hier das mikrophon. diese art flexibel verstellbarer metall konstruktion hat bei mir erfahrungsgemäß nie ,ange gehalten aber hat bisher bei mir auch noch keinerlei abnutzungserscheinungen.Der tragekomfort war eingangs mittelmäßig, da die over ear Kissen das Gehäuse nicht weit genug von meinen Ohren distanzierten um Kontakt zwischen Ohrmuschel und Treiber-gehäuse zu vermeiden. auch der anpress-druck schien etwas zu hoch, was sich aber ja erfahrungsgemäß relativiert. und tatsächlich hat sich beides komplett eingestellt über die zeit. vielleicht gewöhnt man sich auch einfach dran. Das Gewicht ist in Ordnung für den Tragekomfort. etwas schwer aber das lässt das gerät auch wertiger anfühlen.Zu den angepriesenen software features ist zu sagen, dass diese in meinen augen alle eher schlecht sind. den "scout mode" finde ich absolut nicht hilfreich und auch die klang "verbesserungen" sollte man lieber aus lassen oder nur sehr gering schalten. Der software equlizer ist jedoch sehr gut sollte für alle audiogeschmächer die richtige einstellungsmöglichkeit bieten und kann zusammen mit sparsam angewendeten anderen software features der downloadbaren betriebssoftware für die gewünschten ergebnisse sorgen.Das soll jedoch nicht den eindruck aufkommen lassen, dass das Headset schlecht klingt. es klingt überwältigend gut. besonders was Bässe an geht. dagegen kommt man sich mit einem Logitech G930 fast vor als würde man ein schwaches billig head-set benutzen. Die bässe sind super tief und die lautstärke die es ohne merkliche klang Verzerrung dabei auch noch erreicht ist erstaunlich. besonders wenn man den preis bedenkt. ich bin kein audio-phile oder bass fanatiker aber der klang hat mich auch vor allem im vergleich zu meinem logitech z5500 überrascht. ich benutze mein soundsystem gar nicht mehr, weil das headset besser klingt.Die wireless reichweite ist sehr gut. bei mir reicht sie durch nahezu die ganze etage.auch die akku leistung hat mich bisher nicht im stich gelassen. man muss abends aufladen aber wenn man das headset morgens vom stecker zieht, wird es einen den ganzen tag nicht im stich lassen. erst am nächsten tag wird es dann irgendwann wieder nach aufladung verlangen.zum mikrophon klang kann ich nicht viel sagen. meine gesprächspartner konnten keinen signifikanten klang unterschied zu bisherigen headsets feststellen. ich persönlich mag nur die art des microphons nicht. ich würde eine implementierung wie beim Logitech G930 bevorzugen.Die beleuchtungsfunktion sollte das herz eines jeden RGB liebhabers höher schlagen lassen, ich lasse sie jedoch aus, weil es für mich nur unnötig akku verschwendet.Fazit:Verarbeitung ++++Klang +++++Tragekomfort +++Akku +++++software ++++nicht perfekt aber nah dran. vor allem zu dem preis.

Update nach 3 Monaten:Der Druck hat deutlich nachgelassen. Lässt sich nun sehr angenehm tragen.Im Gegensatz, seit ich meine Haare kurz trage, rutscht mir gelegentlich bei Bewegungen das Headset vom Kopf.Das Druckproblem ist also weg.Dazu kam ein anderes Problem:Am Rechten Kopfhörer höre ich jede kleine Bewegung. Wenn ich den Mund bewege oder den Kopf drehe, knackt das Plastik.Oder das Leder knarrt am Plastik.Da ich das Geräusch beim spielen, Filme gucken oder Musik hören eh nicht hören kann, stört es mich nicht weiter.4,5 / 5 SterneInhalt:Headset, 2m langes USB auf micro-USB Kabel, USB-Empfänger+ Leicht+ Toller Sound, ich liebe die Höhen und Mitte. Für Movies und Voice perfekt! Bass ausreichend vorhanden und lässt sich am PC über die Software höher drehen. Windows10 Treiber gibt es auf der Creative Website.+ Creative Software. Viele Spielereien, von LED-Farben einstellen bis zu Equalizer und Mikrofon Effekten. Bass einstellbar.+ LEDs lassen sich am PC komplett über die Software deaktivieren, spart Akku.+ Headset lässt sich an der PS4 während des Betriebs aufladen.+ Nach knapp 8 Stunden Betrieb, zeigt das Headset an der PC Software: 3 von 4 Strichen Akku an, WOW! ~4,5h an der PS4 im Spiel und Voice-Konferenz verbracht, den Rest aktiv am PC Musik gehört.+ Sobald man auf dem PC die LEDs deaktiviert hat, sind sie auch im PS4 Betrieb deaktiviert. Das Headset scheint einen kleinen Speicher zu besitzen, der sich die Einstellungen merkt.+/- Mikrofon ist nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht gut. Hat einen Pop-filter vorne dran. Wirkt wie ein etwas komprimierter Ton, als würde man leicht durch die Nase sprechen.- Der Druck, der am Kiefer und obern Ohr anliegt. Man schwitzt auch schnell. Erwische mich selber dabei, wie ich manchmal das Headset zum abkühlen herunter nehme.- Da es keine Software auf der PS4 gibt, kann man keinen Bass regeln.Fazit: Würde Creative am Bügel arbeiten, dass der Druck nicht mehr so stark ist oder dünnere Ohrpolster verbauen, könnte es perfekt werden.Auch die Polster sehen anders als am Bild aus, die sind nur halb so dick und härter.
