First class construction, easy to use
If you're like me, you think hard about buying an item as expensive as this when so many cheaper versions are available. You wonder if you're paying for a name or for some sort of unnecessary luxury that won't really make a difference in use. Well, having used this gauge/filler for over two weeks I can say it was worth the price. It is a pleasure to use in all ways. The chuck clamps onto the valve stem very easily and securely: no fiddling, twisting, readjusting while air hisses out. If for some reason you failed to seat it properly, there will be no pressure reading on the gauge. Once on, it stays on while you add or bleed off air pressure. Also, it can be used without being attached to an air compressor simply as an air pressure gauge. The very large 2" inch gauge is extremely easy to read. When you add pressure the gauge drops down to zero then climbs back up to the new pressure within a couple of seconds. The fluid in the gauge prevents shock to the mechanism and should make it very robust in daily use. It is also accurate as I have tested it against a Longacre digital gauge that I purchased just as a master check gauge. And it is so much easier to use than the Longacre gauge which does require fiddling, twisting, and readjusting to get it to fit on the valve stem. Longacre Digital Tire Air Pressure Gauge It may be luxurious to have a gauge like this on your compressed air line, but every time I use it it provides that satisfying feel of a tool that is perfectly suited to its purpose. Highly recommended.

Excellent piece of equipment
I love well-made, precision tools, and I have to agree with the other reviewers that the Power Tank TIG-8200 is an excellent piece of equipment.I spent WAY too much time surfing and researching various tire gauges, so I feel that I made the best informed decision that I could. As far as quality gauges are concerned, I narrowed my choices down to the Power Tank and the Longacre Quick Fill Gauge 0-60 PSI . The price was similar, and although the Longacre has more information and reviews available, I liked the look of the Power Tank better.....i.e. it just looks like the inflation feature would work better because of the angle of the valve. If you want to save a few bucks, you could go with a gauge without the inflation feature, such as this one: Longacre Liquid Filled Deluxe Tire Gauge 0-60 psi . But I liked the idea of having a built-in inflator.....and I'm glad I did.The gauge feels solid, works flawlessly, and the readings are accurate as compared with 2 other less-expensive gauges that I own. The quality of the spring-loaded attachment valve is really impressive. I had purchased the Accu-Gage EZ Air Check and Inflate Tires at the same time so that I could compare the 2 products. (Unfortunately, the Accu-Gage suffered from a poorly-sealing attachment valve.....see my review of that item.)The inflation feature is awesome. You just pop it onto your air compressor hose with a quick-attach and you can inflate right through the gauge. So, you don't have to inflate, test, inflate, test, etc. You just leave the gauge attached and do your thing.So....I love this gauge. I tested and inflated the tires on my car, my truck, my Harley, and both of my bicycles. It's built solidly and should hopefully last for many years to come. Buy with confidence.Oh.....one more thing: regarding liquid-filled vs non-liquid-filled gauges: My research indicated that a liquid-filled gauge is better for precision, consistency and cushioning, but is probably not needed for non-professional home-use where 1-2 psi is not as critical.

Large bubbles on dial face
Item appears well made. However, has large bubbles appearing on dial face. Sent back the first one with the same problem. Both have large dial faces but with approx one inch bubbles within the dial in front of the face. Vendor was quick to replace the first one, yet the second one appears to have the same problem.

Great, Accurate, and Well Built Inflator
Even though to me Power Tank may not be a name brand (e.g. Longacre) that I have heard before, I was convinced to write a review of this inflator. This is a pretty good product that is accurate and easy to use. I think overall, this is an easy to use product, and all one had to do out of the box was add a quick adapter to connect to the the hose and I was on my way. I use this several times a week to check tire pressure as well as inflate it from my air compressor. I measured this with several of my calibrated units and it was as accurate. This has a great range in reading that for most car readings, it lands in the middle range of its limits. (Typically for most tools that have readings of sorts, torque wrench and the sort, I like to stay within the middle range for the best accuracy, but I feel that with pressure gauge, this does not matter as much as a torque wrench). This includes a rubber covering for the dial portion of the inflator. The quality is extremely good, and the hose portion can rotate with 360 degrees of freedom, so the hose will not twist at all. I would recommend this to others, even though one may not be aware of this brand.

good quality, the reazon why i gibe 3 stars ...
Gauge is really accurate compare it with snap on and matco gauges readings where the same for a third of the price, good quality, the reazon why i gibe 3 stars is for the hose, is not very flexible, and the gauge is not completly full with the liquid, not sure if thats how it should be, causes to create bubbles when needle moves, will contact manufacturer to ask
