iOttie Easy One Touch GoPro Suction Cup Mount for GoPro Hero 4, Hero 3, Hero 3+, Hero, Session, Silver, Black, White

I like this dash board suction cup better than I like the actual GoPro.It's very sturdy, the GoPro Hero 3 fits in it perfectly and just doesn't move or rattle or fall out even with very vigorous movements. The suction cup is very impressive. Somehow it just stick/suctions better to the car's dash board or any other smooth surface better than any other suction mount I've ever had. I had a cheaper mount from a different company that lasted 10 seconds before I threw it in the trash. I've had suction mounts for different cameras including Sony NEX 5, and for various phones and tablets. NONE worked nearly as well as this one.The options to elevate, lower, angle, and twist the mount and therefore the camera is a huge help.

I had another suction cup mount for my GoPro that I could only mount to the windshield. I got this a while ago and finally got to use it this past week for an off-roading/ 4 wheeling trip. This sucker is amazing! It was stuck on the dash so tightly I had difficulty pulling it off!

I purchased this for my GoPro Hero 4 Silver to record some driving video. I had already purchased two iOttie suction mounts previously, one for my iPhone 4S and another one for my iPhone 6Plus. I had attached them to my dash, and they had excellent suction which lasted throug the hot summer months here in the South. The only caution that I would give to anyone buying one of these it that they really stick hard to the dash, and in my case, when I removed them, some of the tan dash covering was stuck to the suction cup leaving a round black spot where they had been. I wasn't really concerned about this since my truck is thirteen years old. If you have a new vehicle, you may want to consider this. There is a round piece of plastic which is meant to prevent this, but I didn't use it. This one provides the save hard suction, and it is a really sturdy mount. You do have to center it before you lock down the suction cup since there is no way to adjust it from left to right or to rotate the camera. That wasn't a problem for me however. One thing I like about this mount is the ability to elevate and extend the camera once it is connected. I had a spot on my windshield. So I just elevated the camera and extended it above the spot. The video came out pretty stable too, and we have some pretty bad roads here. In conclusion, it works well for me, and it was exactly what I needed.

Off all the best GoPro type holders that I’ve purchased over the years, this is by far the best. It is very compact although I can extend the arm if I need to. The suction is very strong. I also like the dashboard option too. I purchased two for my car and two for my motorcycle (forward and rear cameras).

For an action camera the price is good. I bought it for my motorcycle rides but riding season is over. Now, I have been testing it in my vehicle and it works good. My only complaint is the microphone (audio.) You will have to buy a mic. If you want a real action cam, then spend the extra $$$ and go buy the a GO-PRO.

Awesome mount! Super sticky suction cup. Save the plastic auction cup cover to stick it back on the cup when you're not using the mount. Apparently if it does get dirty or lose its stickiness you can just rinse it with water

The suction cup on this thing is great. My only complaint is the difficulty of removing it. Holds up to a day of wheeling in the jeep while stuck to the hood no problem.

This is my 3rd iOttie mount, and if it had been my first I never would have bought another. I can only assume they've changed the adhesive and it is TERRIBLE. I just lightly placed the suction disk against the windshield and then I couldn't get it off! There is an incredibly sticky substance on the disk now. I couldn't pull it off, I couldn't jam my fingers between it and the windshield to pry it off. I eventually went and got a Teflon pan scraper to try to wedge between the disk and the windshield and finally managed to get it off. I was planning on taking this on a trip to use with a rental car along with the iOttie phone holder I've used before. Thank goodness I tried this on my car before using it on a rental. Without the Teflon scraper I would never have been able to get it off the windshield. I threw away the packaging because I'd had iOttie products before and they worked great. If I still had the packaging this would be going back in a heartbeat. Maybe I'll try it on something I won't ever want to remove it from. My fingers still hurt from the 40 minutes I've spent trying to pry this off the windshield. And even then it left a residue and I think I permanently marred the windshield.Try this at your own risk, but if you're going to gamble, my advice is to put it in a place where you can easily get both hands on it to try to get it off. Also make sure you get it in the right place first time!I don't understand the need for such a strong adhesive, the thing has a good suction. I am exceedingly disappointed in both the product and the company. They ruined a really good product. I don't know if they did this to just the GoPro product or all of their windshield mount line. Since everything except the final phone/camera mount is the same as other iOttie products I've bought I'd guess they'll all suffer from this now. If this was just a bad batch of glue, they should have issued a recall... this stuff is terrible.
