Sounds killer, great compact size, plenty loud...but died and service is poor
I have two DT25s, and two extension cabs, and an HD500 with L6Link in front. Mainly playing an R8 les paul through it. I tried the JTV-59 dream rig thing, and that guitar isn't anywhere near as nice as my R8 (but does some cool things).Everyone was wowed by my sound, and it only took me a few hours to dial it in. I chose two different british models - the plexi superlead and the park 75. I added 20ms delay to only one of the two to get a thick/double-tracked kind of sound. It was really quite amazing how quickly I got it set up, how great and buttery it sounded, and how I was able to run two completely different amps with different effect chains. The DT25 + HD500 combo is pretty sweet. But then I was doing some "low volume mode" recording using the cab-simulated direct out one day. All of a sudden one of the two amps started making popping noises, then a squeal, and then I started to smell something bad. That was Jan. 8th. Two+ months later...and I have no idea if my amp is fixed or not. They had me take it to some guy's residential garage 20 miles away (and the first center they directed me too had stopped servicing Line6 two years ago). He has had absolutely zero follow up with me, even after leaving him voice messages. I have followed up with Line6, and they claim they sent him parts on 2/26.So, anyway, these are awesome if they don't go explody. No way would I gig it without a backup, and I really wanted the two-amp setup. What I'm doing now is playing through a Marshall JVM410h I bought while this has sat in the shop, and a custom Avatar 2x12 cabinet (with a power attenuator because that Marshall is a beast). This setup is also killer and I may just sell the DT25s and the extension cabs...or keep one DT25 to dual-amp with the Marshall and have as a backup.

replaced powered monitor with this
Using an hd500 with a powered monitor just didn't quite do it. I fell for the marketing of the dt25 then did some research. Almost all the reviews were positive. All of the youtubes were positive THEN i found a used in box one for 1/2 of list and bought it. I found tweaking the sounds didn't matter much in the bedroom. Tweaking on stage was the answer. After an unsuccessful maiden voyage in a club, i watched more youtubes and found the answers. I did some deep editing on the hd and also bought the line6 extension cabinet. Last nights gig was outstanding. This amp is spectacular and is exactly what i needed. I must add that the in house sound tech said i wasn't sending a very strong signal. I had the xlr out on the back of the amp going to the snake. Also he was just finishing his training so perhaps it wasn't the dt25, but it needed to be said.

Hummmmmms.......
Hums. Hums. Hums.I bought two of these and both are defective with electronic hum at any reasonable volume/gain.If you warrantee it and get the tubes fixed or whatever, then this thing becomes a unrivaled tone monster!5 star machine...with hum (maybe your unit won't have it and I just got unlucky), the amp gets 3 stars until warrantee fix.

Great amp but keep the voltage in mind
I love this amp, great sound and the perfect combination with the HD500 and the JTV. If you buy this amp in the US keep in mind it is hard wired for 120v, so you will need a transformer if you connect it to 220v. If you connect it to 220v directly it will blow out the fuse at the main input connector, which happened to me. Replacing the fuse did do the job.....Great sound, the right volume to play at home.

Great when it works.
Great amp to use with HD500, but mine has had serious problems from the start. First: I never abuse the amp, in fact I play at low volume because I live in a condo. The preamp tubes blew while under warranty and were replaced. At month 13 the power went completely out and had to have it serviced at an authorized Line 6 repair facility. Within two weeks of getting it back, and only after having used it 4 times, the master volume went down to a level where it could barely be heard at full clockwise rotation. Upon quizzing the repair shop, they said they were seeing a lot of the newer Line 6 tube amps. Their advice? "Fix it and sell it". NOT what I wanted to hear.

Very good
This Line 6 DT25 amp is very good. It is solidly built. It is compact, I fit it in my BMW Z4 trunk. BUT ... best of all ... this amp really sounds great. The first night out at a gig my guitar bandmate was impressed with the sound of the amp coming out the main sound system which was sent via the main out on the rear panel of the DT25. I love the amp!
