Better than a Boogie board
I was pleasantly surprised at the sleek look of the product and its quality build. The product came in a padded envelope inside a box that included a manual, a medium sized microfiber cloth, and the stylus seen in the picture attached to the side of the device. The stylus fits nicely into the side of the product. The board itself works fantastic. The contrast is on par with other equivalent products and works even better in sunlight. When clearing the screen I did not in fact notice any white flashes. The stylus has a relatively fine tip which makes the product more suitable for writing notes or detailed drawings.

Shopping list...
(C.E.O./SCI: female gender male/SS) Alright - 1st - great price on a low budget...2nd - pressure sensitive it says it really isn't/normal pressure/hard pressure I didn't see a difference - its adequate perhaps half the brightness as in da pic...3rd - its nothing like the advertised pic so you shouldn't expect the world for da price...Fantastic for a digital chalkboard for note taking/daily reminders/menu board...I luv dat it comes with all da options i.e. cleaning cloth...4th - I would not suggest you try to take out the writing pen while stuck on the fridge - although the magnets are strong as hell it moves when you pull da pen out - guess they didn't want you to accidentally lose it running about with it - so thoughtful...Lastly - not as large as I thought it would be this 8.5" inch - I recommend a 10" inch or larger if you gonna use it for grocery list - I don't feel it sufficient enough using it as grocery list chalkboard for 2 shopping twice a month...Now for a man-purse...

Good tool, so so build quality
I bought this product to use to jot down notes, drawings and such at work. I work in a test lab that involves large amounts of motor oil, metal shavings and what have you and this writing tablet has not failed me yet. The "pen" and surface makes it feel like writing on paper, and different pressures give different line thicknesses. The writing is easy to view. It doesn't light up, but has a strong contrast that makes writing visible even in lower light conditions. The build quality is ok-ish, the screen started to separate from the backing plastic after a few months. Skilled application of super glue solved that problem, otherwise has held up fine. It comes with a lanyard and a couple magnets that stick to the back for hanging on the fridge. The magnets sticky backing wasn't very good, but a bit of glue would fix that.A word of caution, think of this like an etch a sketch, there is no "eraser" it's all or nothing for clearing the screen. It does not save notes internally either, but the app for a similar board used for Jot-ing down notes works just fine with it for saving notes to your phone. Or you can just take a picture.Overall this is a great tool to have around and has saved a bunch of wasted notebook paper. I would highly recommend.

Didn't last long..
Bought this as my daughter had this at her preschool and the teachers raved about them, so got it for my 3 year old. She passed with it a bit but sort of lost interest.I sort of too it over and kept it on my fridge and used it for to do lists, etc. Every once in a while she would ask to play with it. Then after almost exactly 1 year of very light use, it stopped working. The button wouldn't clear it anymore. A year of constant use would have been worth it, but surprised it only lasted a year with minimal use.

FLIMSY, POOR CONSTRUCTION, SUB-STANDARD PERFORMANCE
Tablet is cheap and poorly constructed. Upon receiving it I immediately started writing notes. The LCD screen wasn't firmly attached and parts of the screen would not "write" unless you pressed very hard with the stylus. Due to flimsy construction, you would write and some parts of the tablet would display your notes but would suddenly "ghost" when you released pressure as you moved your hand position. Essentially causing your notes to not fully appear as if they had been erased. Additionally, the writing was not very bright and did not provide much contrast. My friend has a different brand that we use for group games (to keep score) that works extremely well- this one is nothing like that. It's been awhile since I've been this disappointed with a product in general. The actual product did not meet my expectation at all.I would NOT BUY, NOT RECOMMEND this item.

A Great Product-n-Great Price!
Very lightweight, came with fabric cloth to keep it clean, 2 small magnets, a stylus, and a little rope to hold it.Overall it works pretty good, as advertised, and it doesn't imprint your palm when writing, which is good (those little smears). Perfect size for doing equations on, so much better than having to use lots of paper, to keep jotting them down. The only things I can say negative about this item, is based personally on my preference, and not because the product is bad. The stylus is a little thin for my taste, I prefer a more rounded one, than that which came with this. And it's hard to see to see what you wrote in low light situations, wished it could have been a tad bit brighter. And when you hit the erase button, it all goes, so there's no way to back track in small amounts. But other than that, I am a very happy and satisfied customer, and would definitely recommend this writing board.

Love this cool little gadget.
This is a cool little writing/drawing tablet. It reminds me of the wax paper boards when I was a kid but much, much cooler. This makes a great thing for the car or while waiting for an appointment, no paper necessary. I also used it to help my son with his homework. We put a map he was studying on top and traced it so he could keep practicing without me having to find an additional copy online. It is great for practicing spelling words and math too. We have used a white board before but this is so much less bulky. it is very thin and it seems to hold up well. My teenagers played around on it some when I first got it. It is just fun to write erase, draw erase....whatever you want. I even went back and ordered another one for my Grand daughter.
