Cherries were fabulous
I ordered these once before and they were sent through USPS. It took a week and They arrived melted. This time however they came UPS and package with an ice pack. What a big difference it made. The cherries are fabulous and juicy.

Yummy
These are 1 of my favorite chocolates. When I saw the quantity for the low price it was I had to jump on it right away and get a box. The box that I did receive had been squashed on a side And About 20 of the pc were leaking , But I was able to eat them still. I just wiped off the other ones that were sticky and the chocolates were not damaged and was still able to put out for guests. Wood still buy more because the shipper was responsible for squashing the box. I am glad they were very fresh and not hard or dried out inside. Chocolate had a good flavor as well.

I didn't intend to order dried cherries
Saw this product and rejoiced, thinking back to the days when we would buy a couple of them on the way home from school. The silky chocolate, the slurping of the liquid center, the soft and flavorful cherry floating within.Unfortunately, I was spared all that today. The shipping box was pristine, the inner box was untouched, no trace of liquids inside the cellophane wrapper. Opened it up to an amazingly powerful cherry smell. So amazingly powerful, I got worried, but there was no liquid residue in the top tray. Took out each tray and the cardboard between and everything looked perfect. It's winter - no need to worry about getting shipped under a baking sun. When I went to unwrap one from the top layer, the bottom was mushy/soft. After pulling back the foil, I saw that the entire bottom was caved-in, like someone had sucked out the center and the bottom had imploded. The chocolate was somewhat whitened as well, which doesn't mean it's necessarily "bad" but rather that it had melted and heated up to the point where some of the sugars separated out and crystallized on the surface. I put that cherry aside, pulled a random one from the middle layer. Same thing. And same for the bottom layer.Well, since there was no liquid to be found in the box, I figured there had to be something left, so I tried one of the cherries anyway. It was not quite like beef jerky made of cherries, but it was dry as a bone and of a horrible texture. What flavor survived was awful, but thankfully not very powerful. The best thing about this box of Cella's cherries was the aroma of cherries when I opened the cellophane wrapper. I thought I'd escape the "melted cherry syndrome" that others described by purchasing it in the colder months, and I quietly cheered when I saw the shipping box was unblemished, but my confidence level in The Candy Company (merchant) quality is quite low and there's no way I'm spending money to see if it happens twice in a row. I should have listened to the other reviewers.
