A good replacement for the one our dog chewed to shreds. Fortunately, this one so closely resembles the original that our granddaughter did not notice. Plus, she came with two new outfits. Crisis averted.

She’s perfect

The doll is very cute, and the dress matches the Festival Chico Linda horse bought at another store. The doll also came with a horse brush that complemented the other set. The doll can ride the above horse.

Good gift granddaughter loved it

These dolls are a good value. You get outward rotation in the shoulder joints and the hip joint as well as articulation at the knee and ankle with this doll, meaning you can bend the knee and turn the ankles from side to side for added posing possibilities. The head moves from side to side also but does not allow tilting. The hair style is sweet; the hair tie is plastic, and as for the clothes, although the design on the dress is stamped, the collar, arm cuffs and sash are separately sewn fabric pieces which gives the clothes added realism. Besides being colorful and attractive, that's quite a detail for a doll this modestly priced. Other doll lines have their positive points and might come with more accessories but I find it refreshing to find dolls that are wearing age appropriate clothing like this that is beautifully realized without sexualizing them. The series is beautifully animated, and uplifting. My one critique has to do with the description posted on Amazon. The doll is almost 8 inches tall, not 7 inches. Lottie doll clothes fit these dolls pretty well (slightly larger) but as Spirit dolls have molded-on blue jeans and boots not feet, you can't really use all of the pieces but Lottie tshirts, jackets and vest fit fine. Pru's legs are also much longer than Lottie dolls so the tights wouldn't work. The super cute Abigail doll (7 inches) which comes with the yellow dress is closer in height to Lottie as Lotties are 7.5 inches in height. There is a difference in the size of the heads compared to Lottie--Lottie heads are a little smaller compared to Abigail and Pru but not outside the realm of what you might see in real life. I think these are a great gift for kids.
