I purchased this set as a spare knife set for my vacation home so I didn’t want to spend too much money. However upon use of the knife set I was pleasantly surprised at how it compares to my much more expensive twin JA Henkels knifes. The knifes are sharp and cuts very quickly and the steel is thick giving the knifes a solid weight to help cut through thicker slices of beef. Overall good weight and balance with sharp blades.

We have had this knife set since the week before Christmas. I was shocked at how well these knives have performed and continue to perform. If you have been using dull knives be very careful with these. These knives are incredibly sharp. My wife got distracted for a second while cutting vegetables and took off the tip of her finger, right through the nail, tip of bone and flesh like a hot knife through butter. Tip was reattached but didn't take, I call her Stumpy now and am hoping one of these knives don't end up in me.

I bought these knives as a Christmas gift to my daughter. She loved them at first. Loved the look, said they are very sharp. Fast forward 5 months and look at the handles! She won't even keep them on the counter now because they look so bad. They look as if the paint is wearing off of them. So, giftable.....not unless you want to be completely embarrassed when this happens. For the price I was hoping for better quality.I wouldn't buy them again.

These are the great set of knives I bought. Be very carful with the blades as they are very sharp and are also firmly lined between the handle. Its easy to handle any of these knives. Very firm and worthy for the price it has.

I've long lusted after a good set of kitchen knives. This fulfills the need at a great price. It has all the knives I've ever wanted. The thickness of the blades is great: slicing and chopping are a breeze. They are super sharp. I'm having to relearn how to use knives. I'm so habituated to duller knives that I keep trying to push or hack my way through things these knives are meant to just slice. It's a great value for the money; it's a great value period.
