A few years ago I was given a third hand TV by some friends who had received it from their family when they all upgraded. Unfortunately, by the time it got to me the original remote was lost. If I wanted to change the input I had to walk over to the TV and try to do it manually by pushing the tiny microscopically labeled buttons on the side while trying to watch the onscreen menu - and it needed to happen in a specific order. One wrong push and you had to start over. Universal remotes weren't up to the task. Fed up with the situation, I google searched for the remote and found it here. I can now change channels and inputs from my chair on the other side of the room. Perfection!

I bought this an a 93-year-old elderly. He has a hard time pushing the red on/off button, because it is just way too small and you really need to push hard and push it for about 5 seconds before it turns on/off. My elderly ended up just leaving the TV on all night, because he can't seem to push that red "off" button. So it's not working out. But I have say that the remote control does work from get-go. I only wish the on/off button was bigger and easier to push for an elderly.

This is the first time I have ever bought a replacement remote that works perfectly as soon ad the battereis are installed. My TV is 10 years old and this remote is fabulous, works just like the orignial one. If your model is listed you cannot go wrong with this product.

Bummed it doesn't come with instructions because I thought I would have to program in some kind of code. Nope. It was already programed. Put in battery and started to use. Wonderful.
