Favorite liners of all time
I love how smooth they write. I don't have a heavy hand but I can imagine they would break easily if you tend to push down hard when writing/drawing. Matte, deep black color. Exactly what you'd want in a fine liner

So far, so good...
Update:I have been using these pens for a few months now, and I have to say that they are still going strong, and are still very smooth, clean, and dark. I think I will order another set right now, just in case they disappear. Love them!I was hoping that these pens would do the trick and so far, so good...My first moments using them was a little disappointing - the first few lines felt draggy... But then they opened up and became very smooth, which I really need with the amount of detail I do.I haven't crushed the tips yet, which is a real plus, because I can blow out a lot of pen tips, so they seem pretty sturdy. The water-based, colored brush pens I am currently using are pretty juicy (not my favorite thing, but I figured I would try them), and so far these black pens haven't smeared, so that is good. They haven't bled either - yay! They are nice, and dark, and opaque. If they last for three or more complete drawings (that's a lot of ink) I'll be happy, and will buy again. I will try to remember to update this post on their longevity.

Such a great writing pen for signing your artwork!
I purchased these pens under recommendation and they have not disappointed! I use them to outline watercolor sketches and to sign things. I have the black set with the various size tips. Will purchase a multicolor ink set if they are available!

The good, the bad, and the beautiful
I have been using Sakura Pigma Microns (supposedly the #1 pen for line-drawing & artists) for awhile now, but I have not been happy with them, so I thought I'd try these UniPiNs. I must say, these UniPiNs are AWESOME and produce nice, sharp black lines, even better than the Microns do! At last, something better than the "gold standard."As others have mentioned in reviews, the UniPiNs come in a clear zip-lock bag. Mine had a hole in it just enough to get a pen out (see 1st photo, one pen is sticking out). Not sure what that was about, but I really don't care how they are packaged as long as they work okay.I was pleasantly surprised that the pen caps have a little window in the cap so that you can see the size of the pen nib. I included a photo (last one) so that you can see the nib through the cap. It's odd that the photos and description don't mention this feature! In fact, all of the photos have capless pens! However, after using them a bit, I noticed that there wasn't much different between the 0.6, 0.7, and 0.8 sized pens. When I compared them (see 3rd photo), I see now that those three pens are EXACTLY the SAME line weight! The UniPiN "0.6" should match about the same size as the Micron "10" line weight, but it clearly doesn't. And the UniPiN "0.7" should match the Micron "12" (0.7mm), but that's way off too... and the UniPiN "0.8" should be the broadest line-weight, even broader than the Micron 12!Could UniPiN folks explain why their 0.6, 0.7, and 0.8 pens are exactly the same line weight? And did anyone else notice this in their sets, or is it just that way in my set?Other than the 3 pens being the same line weight, I would give this set 10 stars if I could, because I really love these pens and are better than the Microns. I just wish the last three pen sizes really the size they state on their pens.

Love these pins so much. I started off with one and had to buy the whole set. They are finepoint and great for art or journaling. Been searching for the perfect journaling pins and these have exceeded my expectation!

Best illustration pens you'll ever buy!
Amazing pens, great for illustrators who work with alcohol-based markers, as they don't bleed. Varying sizes come in very handy to add different levels of line weight when illustrating large backgrounds or details. I've been using this brand of pens for 6+ years, and this is the second time I've ever had to purchase new pens. Only one or two of my old pens were truly "worn out" but 3 years for one set of pens is still a great deal in my book!As a side note to artists looking at purchasing these pens, until I found this brand, I typically bought and used Micron or Copic branded fine liners, these BLOW THEM OUT OF THE WATER in general quality and in longevity.

Quality Water-resistant Ink Pens
These water resistant ink pens come in a variety of tips (for thinness/thickness of lettering) and are quality products. Great for drawing or using to sketch before adding water colors over the paper. And they're very reasonably priced.
