Great for the weekend warrior!
First- let's get the moral issue out of the way. Yes, it is an illegal golf ball, so the radical improvement in my scores in the first 2 games I have used this ball I guess don't really count. That being said, the probability of me getting my tour card and T-ing off against Tiger is still extremely remote and I (like most amateur players) have taken many liberties with mulligans, foot wedges, and moving the ball out of a hazard. What is more likely to happen when I play is to tighten up on a narrow fairway and drop kick the tee shot, or when there are houses close on the right my power slice unexpectedly re-emerges. When I played with this ball that all went away. I mean gone. 28 straight shots with the driver and 12 straight shots with fairway woods(across 2 games). Not "that wasn't too bad, only a little fade" - straight like a bullet. Like some others that have reviewed I did notice the ball liked to force itself down or "drop" off the tee shot and I lost a lot of distance for the first few shots. This was mostly corrected when I tee'd up the ball considerably higher then I normally would. Overall I was still about 15 to 20 yards short on drives even with the height correction. A favorable exchange for the gain in accuracy in my opinion. Fairway woods had no noticable differance in distance. Aiming the ball is key. It will go straight in the direction you hit it everytime (barring the shot off the heal that was saved by my mulligan). In summary, if you have a tendancy to slice and loose balls and understand that much like mulligans and foot wedges your game is based on loosely following the rules- then get these balls and enjoy YOUR game a lot more. If you are practicing heavily and are improving as a player or already have a low handicap then avoid these balls so us cheaters have a chance of beating you.

I just finished 18 holes and still have the same ball i started with!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I'm a bogie/double bogie golfer that may par a hole once or twice every round or so. When I play I'm just going out to have fun. If the ball has a bad lie then ill tweak it a little to get me a better shot. I'm by no means a rule following golfer. On average ill loose 3 or 4 balls in a round of golf and end up finding 5 or 6 while I look for mine. So, for the review....These things are amazing! They go exactly where you point them. Do I care that there illegal, no. Did I just have the most fun round of golf since high school, YES! I'm no pro, who cares if there illegal for match play. I can go to the tee box without being afraid of embarrassing myself. I have a major slice whenever I try to send the ball into another dimension, so I usually hold back and try to focus on just hitting the ball straight. With these things I can smack the ball as hard as I want and it goes perfectly straight. I cant believe how well these things work. Now, unfortunately they do go EXACTLY where its pointed, so if your in the fairway taking your second shot and you don't adjust the ball so its straight again, your going to have a bad day. Don't try to hit the ball with a 5 wood from the fairway when the arrows at a 45 degree angle. I still cant believe I found the ball.

Great ball for most weekend golfers!
I'm a solid 7 hdcp (and could be better if I had the time) so these are not really for me. I will state that they work as advertised, I do see these straighten an intended draw or fade. And I notice no real difference between these and my regular gamer (B330) in terms of distance. Not so good greenside and they are too 'hard' to putt But I try for perfection in those areas and most people wouldn't notice the difference. But these are GREAT for they guys I tend to play with - and I've given away at least a dozen now. Here's the situation: I play a lot of golf as a single when I travel. Usually resorts and rather nice courses. It's VERY frustrating to play with a couple of guys that couldn't hit the fairway sober - much less with a beer or two. After the first 4 or 5 holes of helping search for balls in the rough, and it's obvious they are not playing seriously, I'll hand these out and explain that they are 'not USGA legal' but 'will help'. The look on their faces after they hit the fairway the next 6 or 7 holes is priceless. And now I get to spend more time in the fairway playing my game rather than searching for a lost ball. You cannot use these for tournaments or for posting a handicap but for the weekend golfer, it saves a lot of frustration. And I think 85%+ of the people playing golf just want to 'keep up' with the other players or try to stay in the fairway so they don't embarrass themselves. And these balls WILL help. The only time I've seen a Polara get lost was when someone hit it straight out into the rough, (and I assure you, it went straight), or the wind grabbed it and pushed it out of bounds. I honestly think if your average weekend golfer used this ball, a round wouldn't take over 5 hours on a Saturday afternoon. With the 'ball spin' under control, I think most would people would be straighter and longer on their drives. At a minimum, 3 out of 4 in the typical foursome wouldn't be in the rough. If you are struggling with that slice, you should try out a sleeve. Finally; I find that most people after using this ball for several holes will now hit their regular ball better. They build some confidence in their swing and "let it rip" vs. holding back because they fear the OB stakes. Just an observation.

It is still possible to hook or slice them but nowhere as bad as it it with standard balls
These balls are incredible. It is still possible to hook or slice them but nowhere as bad as it it with standard balls. 90% of shots are now almost arrow straight and it really helps you trust your judgment when choosing which club to use. The only downside to owning these balls is it’s heartbreaking when you lose one either in the rough or water because they’re not cheap!

Sure that this says more about my game.
Unfortunately these self correcting golf balls have not helped me, sure that this says more about my game than the balls themselves!
