The best cycling sunglasses available
I am a self-professed sunglass addict. I have had a problem with buying them compulsively for the past 10 years or so. I have used Oakley, Rudy Project, Spy, Smith (different models), Briko and several other brands/models. For the money there are not a better pair than Pivlock V2 Max for cycling.I used to have 8 pairs of shades that I would rotate based on mood until I bought this pair. I have since sold most of the others and ride these almost exclusively. I only have 2 other pairs that I wear and that is only on a rare occasion.Pros are:1. No top bar on the frame, which does not interfere with your view when down in the handlebar drops.2. Clear optics3. The lenses are simple, quick and easy to swap - more so than any other model I have used.4. For a minimalist frame, they seem durable.5. Great coverage of the face and eyes with the larger "Max" lens. This extra bit of lens matters in really cold weather.6. The amber colored lens is good for about 70% of the riding that I do, but having a clear and a darker mirrored option is nice.7. They are very easy to clean, with no frame edges getting in the way of the lenses.8. They are easily adjusted to the face with movable nose piece and temples.9. The comfort is as good as any pair of shades that I have worn on the bike.I strongly recommend giving these a try, for cycling as well as general use. I had a second pair of these but my son has assumed possession of them. He likes the cool factor but also appreciates that the design is very functional.

Love the Expanded Field of Vision
I've been using these glasses for cycling for about six weeks in cold weather in the mountains and hot weather in the lowlands. They are not the most stylish cycling glasses I've ever worn but functionally, they are the best. They are very lightweight - so much so that you don't even know they are there. The interchangeable lenses are easy to swap out. But the thing I like best is my expanded field of vision - especially to the side when I'm looking behind me. For me, this expanded field of vision is a safety issue and I feel much safer in traffic when I'm wearing these. And finally, if you are a serious cyclist and don't want to pay for the Oakley brand name, these are great sunglasses at a much better price point.

Ugly, cheaply made for the price and lense are not translucent.
First off I am very disappointed by Nashbar's customer service. They lied about who provides the content on Amazon. They claimed that they can't honor full refunds if the item is purchased from Amazon. The picture is not a true reproduction of the glasses. The lenses are not translucent as pictured and blamed Amazon for the discrepancy.I am riled that I needed Amazon's assistance for my full refund of the sunglasses. I still had to cover 22$ (8$ initial delivery cost and 14$ for the subsequent return) in shipping costs. That is the equivalent of 20% of the total cost of the item.I am not happy with this failed transaction and appalled by my Nashbar's customer service experience.Nashbar does carry great products at good prices and I hope this was an isolated experience.Secondly, the construction of these so-called professional sunglasses is poorly designed. The flimsy plastic pin that holds the replaceable lenses in place can easily be warped and will damage with time rendering them useless. Of course, it is a non issue if you do not intend to use the other colored lenses provided. The glasses fit is bigger than normal. Through the years I have owned several pairs of glasses (Serengeti, Maui Jim, Prada, etc) and these one dwarfs them all. This is not a negative point but just an observation that might help others with average size head and face.Lesson learned, I will only purchase from Amazon and no longer from third parties.I will look for free shipping and 100% money back guarantee. When it comes to sunglasses for biking, I will stick with cheap anti-fog safety glasses.I like my metal frame 15$ McCormicks yellow lenses safety glasses.

Great!...unless you need a Rx insert.
I have used these for the past 6 months. I like the glasses, and they work well for running and cycling. I have used them on my time trial bike and they work great! I can look through the lens, not over it like other glasses. This is possible because of the adjustable nose piece. If I put it into the smallest position, the glasses sit higher on my nose and allow me to see just fine.However.....I also got the prescription insert from Sportrx.com. The insert comes with it's own nose piece which is not adjustable. Since it is much wider, the glasses sit lower on my nose and I end up looking over the glasses while in the drops, or when using my time trial bike. The prescription insert itself works fine, but the nose piece doesn't. I have resorted to buying foam pads from the drug store and sticking them on the inside of the nose piece to let the glasses sit higher.I could only give this product 3 stars for this reason. If you don't need the Rx insert, I would recommend them. They work great. But if you need a prescription lens, I would look elsewhere.

jNot so impossible
Not bad but not that "impossibly black" ...I was disappointed. That said, functionally they work fine for long bike ride.

Anti Oakley
Great glasses. I use these for jogging and biking, they stay in place, are very comfortable and most importantly, they look awesome and fit my big melon.

Same Built Quality as Oakley but better price
Use these for running and biking (road and triathlons). The lenses are soooo easy to change. The very first time I changed them it was a little hard but every time after that it has been a breeze. The packaging and case it comes with are super cool. I also own some Oakley Frogskins. Smith Optics are the same quality built as Oakley's for sure and wayyy better price for these type of shades. Recommend them!
