Having to switch suddenly to decaf after decades of caffeinated coffee was a shock to my system in more ways than one. My past experiences with decaf have been underwhelming. Until I discovered this French roast, I despaired of ever finding a decaf that had the flavor, depth and richness regular coffee carries.This coffee converted me!It took a couple less than drinkable attempts to get the coffee to water ratio right. Here’s what I do: 4 scoops (2T each) and 4 cups of water into my thermal carafe drip coffeemaker produces an excellent bold cup of coffee. This recipe gives me two large mugs of the best decaf, hands down.You’re welcome.

I’d been buying another (more expensive) brand, but with rising prices I needed to lower my overall budget. I found San Francisco Bay brand coffee. The first flavor I tried was Cold Brew, and it was on par with the more expensive coffee in flavor.When finished, I came back to San Francisco Bay; and decided to try a signature blend “Bay Ridge Blend” for my cold brew - the smell & taste is beyond what I would expect from a $22 coffee. Give either Cold Brew a try or take a chance on their Bay Ridge Blend flavor - it’s worth it.

The coffee quality is just top notch! Perfect for making a regular cup or an expresso. For decaf, this could well be the best I've tried. The only draw down is that they have hiked the price up dramatically recently, from 20 to 27-ish, which gave me pause if i should continue ordering them. But if you don't mind the price, these are the ones to get.

Used to get the caffeinated package...now doing their decaf without regret. I never needed caffeine, just a decent coffee taste after meals....my family thinks its VERY decent and a cost effective alternative. Mixes well with Starbucks caffeinated if you need a jolt from time to time.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:One of the few companies which offer Dark-roast decaf. The coffee is good and fresh, but pricy. Their prices have gone up substantially in the last few months.

I loved the Organic Coffee Company Rainforest Blend, which the company seems to have stopped making. It is part of SF Bay Coffee, which has its own Rainforest Blend. I bought a 2 lb bag (only size available) and tried it this morning. Unfortunately, it is a much milder coffee without the wonderful complexity of the Organic Coffee Company's Rainforest Blend. I used to think "wow" when I had the Organic Coffee company blend. It's disappointing when companies stop making a product people love and replace it with something that is not the same even with the same name.

When we used the Keurig, these were the pods I got. Then we switched to pour over coffee. It was glad to see that fog chaser was available in these larger bags. Delicious coffee, reasonable price.
