Cable upgrade
Have a new TV and wanted the latest cable for my Streamer. It works fine but I am not certain it was necessary.

Best HDMI
This HDMI cable from Monoprice works exactly like it should—no issues with picture or sound quality. It feels sturdy and well-made, not flimsy like some cheaper ones. I’ve used it for both my TV and gaming setup with no problems. Great value for the price. Love getting 120hz at 4k!

Just spend the money.
As is now, click buy right now, there is nothing to think about, nothing to discuss. These are excellent cables, and yes hdmi is digital and digital signal is this and that and blah blah blah. What a poor cable does do, is, it makes things randomly blink, and sometimes and error would display ( roku does anyway) . Thats a bad cable. No I dont think image quality improves somehow, i dont think one could see that is 100% digital communication, but the blinking in and out, yea, thats cheaper cables. This cable is super high end without the absurd price, all my blinking is gone.

Great Cable but...
I was searching for a replacement HDMI cable as my old one was having issues. I decided to give this one a try after reading upon bunch of information and reviews. So far it is working great. Picture quality is very good; much better than my old one. Cable feels sturdy. Maybe a little rigid but maintains its shape after bending it to fit in a tight space. But I have no need to move it around once it's set in place so that is not an issue.I would definitely recommend this one.UPDATE: I would still recommend this cable but you should be aware it does not fit snugly to the equipment. I am using them to connect my TV with soundbar and Blu-ray player and soundbar as well as cable box and soundbar. I need to make sure the cables are connected when I clean the room. A slight movement of soundbar seems to get the cable to slide and loose good connection. I am keeping them as they do provide good picture and sound as long as they are completely in the socket.

Genuine Certified Ultra High Speed. Solidly made. Our new go-to cable brand.
There are lot of Chinese brand cables on amazon claiming Ultra High Speed certification, but I really didn't want to have to crawl around the back of our equipment rack to swap out the cables more than once, should the claims prove false, as too many reviews of other brands have claimed, or even if quality control was to blame, which seems more likely. Monoprice seemed the safest bet, that would get here in a hurry via Prime, at an affordable price where I didn't feel like I was paying for big brand advertising or gaudy design.I've owned a lot of different cable brands over the years, but never bought Monoprice before, even though they've enjoyed high praise, even among videophile circles. These days, Monoprice has essentially become one of your better names in the cable industry for solid quality without charging name-brand premiums. Unlike a lot of brands out there, Monoprice seems to get it: just make a good product for a fair price. You don't need subjectively gaudy terminations for something that is usually concealed (not to imply these cables don't look sleek - they do, but without drawing attention to themselves, should the control panel of your display be visible to guests). Nor are superfluous video enhancements (like sharpening) desirable with HD and higher resolutions, not to mention how potentially problematic any extraneous processing can be with the dreaded HDMI handshake.Unlike analog video interconnects of yesterday, paying more for build quality doesn't provide tangible benefit for most run lengths and settings. Monoprice isn't the cheapest cable on the market, but they're close, yet still appears to offer brand name quality far below brand name prices. I'm glad they sell through amazon now, as when we need a new cable, we usually want it as fast as we can get it.We've purchased 6' and 10' lengths and can confirm these pass 4K at 120hz from a PS5. In addition to the PS5, we use these cables to carry 4K content from a standalone Panasonic UHD BD player and scaled 4K with enhanced chroma sampling from an Oppo 103 Darbee Edition BD player.

Advice from a professional home theater & High-End Home Entertainment installer
Key advice I pass on to most customers & follow myself:-Use HDMI 2.1 cables. They are the most capable cables for high end content paired with newer televisions & receivers.-Only choose Ultra Certified HDMI cables. These cables have been tested and assured to work up to the HDMI 2.1 specifications.-Use the shortest HDMI cable possible. This will reduce your chance of dropout with high bitrate content.-Don’t use the cable that came with the TV. I have yet to see a decent cable packaged with a television or receiver.Which aftermarket cable to choose?Low-Midrange cable:For simple streamer (Apple TV, Roki, etc) to television setups I prefer the Monoprice. For the price you can’t do much better. The cable does have issues with 4k 10-bit at 60hz (commonly used for Xbox one X & PlayStation 5 gaming). It also struggles with HDR10, which is being more commonly used in movies streamed through Netflix & Hulu.I have had no success with Monoprice & HDR10+ or Dolby Digital. I think that content pushes to high of a bandwidth for it. Lately EARC has also been a struggle, new systems are starting to use these advanced features on a regular basis.High-End cable:Fusion8k is the industry leader at this moment.Installs of the newest Televisions, projectors & receivers will be pushing HDR10+ & Dolby digital or Atmos.I have been using the Fusion cables for these installs because saving a few bucks on an HDMI cable is usually not worth my time when having to come back and troubleshoot issues on previous installs.
