Great quality and thoughtful design. I was expecting the plastic to be light weight akin to cardboard, and was worried if it might blow away. It is actually very dense. I have several wooden cathouses outdoors in the elements and they deteriorate within a year or two. I will order a few more of these for my 3 acre property to give the ferals shelter during the heavy rains here in Hawaii. I see someone already sprayed this above the door since it was out overnight for the first time lol…

The feral cats that live in the area have enjoyed this house. For our Michigan cold winters, I insulated the house with insulation sheets, put straw on the bottom of the house, and then put a self-warming mat on the straw. I originally tried to just use straw, but the cats wouldn’t use the house like that. Once I put the self-warming mat in, they used it every day. I bought several self-warming mats so I could change them out and wash them because I was worried about them getting wet from snow and I didn’t want the cats to freeze. I wish it was easier to get the lid off of this house for switching out the beds, so that’s my only complaint with this house. Overall, I was really happy with this purchase and I was relieved knowing the feral cats had a nice shelter to sleep in during the cold winter.

We liked the house so well, I bought 2 more for the other outdoor cats! We will put a warming pad designed for dog houses in them for the winter time but the two windows are nice for the cats to have a breeze in the hot summers!

Bought for a little feral cat I'm helping out. She hasn't started regular sleeping in it but she does go in and out for shelter. Its so hot out now so maybe she'll use it more when it gets cold. I'll definitely have to provide straw ans insulation for the cold but we will cross that bridge then. The house was extremely easy to put together and I really like that it sits up off the ground. I have it set up on the side of my backyard kind of in the bushes because that is where she likes to hang out. Still building trust with her. My only issue is that its hard to keep dry inside because the flaps dont keep water from splashing in during hard rains. The house itself doesn't leak or anything but water does come in through the doors. Once she trusts me a but more I'll try to move the house somewhere that's covered so this hopefully won't keep being an issue. Overall I'm happy with it.

I just received this and put it together and WOW! This thing is super sturdy, a great size and easy to put together. I just stuck a little cat bed inside and voila! This is the fanciest feral cat house I have ever seen! Great buy!

We ordered this for our 2 cats hoping it was big enough for two. While it is small I believe they will both be comfortable laying together in the house. The house is also surprisingly well made and very easy to assemble ! We assumed when we ordered this that it would probably need to be replaced in a couple years, but after seeing how well made it is I believe it will last quite some time. We are very pleased with this house.
