Nexxus Color Assure Shampoo, for Color Treated Hair, 13.5 oz

This is the best shampoo I've ever used. I have naturally oily hair. It usually starts looking greasy after only one day. This shampoo works really well at cleaning my hair and removing the excess oil. I can go a few days in between washes now before my hair starts looking greasy. I also feel like it helps keep my color vibrant for longer. You only have to use a few pumps, so one bottle lasts me a couple of months. Definitely worth the price.

Edit : After using between July to October, I started to get really heavy oil buildup on my scalp. I started cycling in a cleansing shampoo once a week and that solved the issue. Still really like this shampoo!Original : Ok, great price!! Seriously! At my local Walmart, this same bottle/size is just over 25.00. I purchased this shampoo on Prime for $16.79 in July of 2017. The product is working perfectly, I get such soft hair when using this shampoo with it's conditioner. I have baby,baby fine hair and oily skin, so I have to wash often. This stuff does not mess with my hair dye either. Using low end shampoo pulls color fast...this stuff is worth some extra bucks! I also get more volume as it doesn't weight my hair down. Big plus! Product is in date, something that concerned me when purchasing. Also, no leaking or damage to bottle! This bottle has a pump for easy dispensing. Smell isn't super strong, it has white orchid in it so it has a soft floral scent. There are no sulfates or silicone or dyes. Huge huge plus. Hard to find a shampoo on the lower cost scale without those ingredients. I will say that it takes a bit more than a more exspensive brand to get a rich lather, but I don't mind. I use about 1 1/2 pumps to wash my medium length hair ( just past shoulders). If you have a question, leave me a comment. it smells really good; the pump is definitely thicker consistency than the smaller bottles. not sure how it is on my color but i like it, a little pricey but good quality, has a clean feeling after.

This shampoo is sulfate free which is really good for color treated hair. Sulfates can be to harsh on color treated hair.I have been using this shampoo for 2 years and it really helps my color look vibrant and helps the color to last.

Ok, so when I first started using it thought I loved the shampoo, because it smells really good, I love the smell!Now, many other reviewers have mentioned that the shampoo doesn't wash off, and they are quite right. First I thought the shampoo was so mousturizing, that that's why it left the hair feeling heavy, like if you put conditioner and you didn't wash it off well.I do not wash my hair everyday, because I like to have my natural oils help condition my hair, it feels softer, healthier and my color lasts much longer since I started doing that, BUT with this shampoo, you won't last an extra day because your scalp will feel dirty, itchy, oily & dandruff-y.When I notice this I immediately switched back to my old Head n'Shoulders and the problems dissapeared immediately.What I have been doing, which alleviated the problem as well, is I first use my old shampoo, then for my second quick wash I use this one (as a conditioner), this way I don't have to throw away the bottle.
