Sovol Filament Dryer 2025, SH01 Filament Dehydrator 3D Printer Spool Holder with Upgraded Fan, Dry Box for Keeping Filament Dry, Compatible with 1.75mm, 2.85mm PLA PETG TPU ABS

The Sovol SH01 is a great edition to my 3D printing toolkit. I needed a dryer to dry some TPU and PETG Filament. The SH01 was easy to use and accomplished my main goal of taking extra moisture out. The price was also perfect for me as a budget conscious consumer.It arrived quickly from Amazon and was packaged very well and in a very sturdy and foam cushioned container. The dryer has ports to allow you to keep filament in the dryer and feed it to through to your printer. The buttons are clearly placed on the front and the display shows the humidity level and the temp you are setting it at. I have dried multiple rolls of PTEG and just recently a roll of TPU in my new dryer and it definitely did its job. Would buy again.

I've purchased the Sovol dual-color rose red and blue coextrusion filament multiple times, and it never disappoints.The quality is consistently excellent. No clogs, tangles, or inconsistencies. It prints smoothly, and the results look absolutely stunning with the silky finish and beautiful color transitions. I'm in love with this filament and several others from Sovol's dual and tri-color silk lineup.I've attached a photo of a wild vase mode fractal printed with this filament. (Model by @endlessdesignlab on MakerWorld.) The way the colors shift across the curves, hard edges, and facets is mesmerizing in person.Highly recommend this filament for geometric art and fractal-style models! The dual-color effect really compliments sharp edges, and makes complex designs pop even more.I truly appreciate SOVOL for making such high quality filament. 🤝

Bought the SH01 Filament Dehydrator for testing. When testing I looked at the function of the dehydrator compared to the advertisement listed on Amazon. Based on this I would give it a 5 star. It is exactly as described and functions well. I was able to get 15% humidity at 50c when leaving the latches unsecured. The directions are easy to understand and even advise to leave the lid propped open to allow moisture to escape.Positives –1) Includes fan to circulate air inside the case.2) Can be used as a storage box when closing off holes using attached plugs.3) Easy to program.4) Good quality build.5) Easy to understand directions.6) Large dryer, can dry two rolls at one time saving cost of two dryers.I gave it a 4 star based on the following factors.1) Temperature is 40, 45, or 50. However, this may be a good feature for many. It was not a factor for me as I run my other dehydrators at 50c.2) Timer can be set from 6 to 12 hours. Would like to see at least 24 hours.3) The holes for feeding filament are on top. Would be good to have holes in the front also. It will not work as well if you mount the dryer above your printer as it will lead to filament binding in the holes. This will be an easy fix by drilling two holes in the front and inserting Pneumatic Fittings. However, this will take away from using as a storage box and may void warranty.4) The bottom gets hot while using. Found some feet on Thingiverse you can print to raise it which will help with this issue. Sovol 3D - DUAL Filmanet Dry Box Stand Off5) Takes a while for the temperature to raise to set value. This may be due to it being larger and holding 2 rolls of filament.Overall – This is a quality dryer and will make an excellent standalone dryer for filament. When placed beside the printer it will also work to keep filament dry when running long prints. Would highly recommend to use with a dual head printer.

I got this SILK Tri Color Co-Extrusion filament a while back and have been using it for some projects. It's really interesting to work with - the colors blend together so well, creating a unique effect that kids seem to love (they always ask me about it). The bronze, purple, and green mix is pretty wild, though I did find myself getting confused sometimes trying to figure out how to orient the filament for specific color combos. Still, once you get the hang of it, it's not too bad.I've printed a bunch of different objects with this stuff - from vases to figurines. The surface finish is nice and smooth, which is always a plus. It prints without any issues on my printer, no jams or tangles (unlike some other filaments I've tried). This filament also has pretty good adhesion, so it sticks well to the bed and doesn't curl up during printing. One time, while working on a print, I heard someone mention that they had seen a similar filament being used in a science fiction movie once - kind of cool, right? Overall, this is a great filament for anyone looking to add some flair to their prints. It's easy to use and produces fantastic results. Just be prepared to spend some time figuring out the color blending aspect.

Beautiful filament! It arrived well packaged, and straight from the box it printed great. Zero stringing or other moisture issues. I love the subtle transitions from one color to the next, it’s not as abrupt as other brands that I’ve used in the past which leads to a really beautiful finished print.This filament was printed at 230c with a 65c bed at 12mm/s flow rate (max), and I’m very impressed with the results. Will be buying again!
