The media could not be loaded.  I have had several bouts of skin cancer and knew I needed good protection from the sun on our recent Caribbean cruise. The hat was excellent for protection on the beach, but I had no idea it would also be excellent for protection from the rain! I mean, we're going to the Caribbean, right? What a bonus. It even kept my glasses from getting wet, which as other eyeglass wearers will surely appreciate. The material is firm, yet pliable. I received the hat in packaging that required the hat to be folded, which was a disappointment at first until I started wearing it. As you can see by the photos, the brim is firmly in place providing ample protection from the elements. It is made from quality materials that are very nicely put together. It really is a wonderful had and I love wearing it.

This hat is perfect for keeping the sun off your face and neck. It is very large! My only complaint is that it fits a little too tight but not uncomfortably.

Nice wide brim keeps my head and neck from the sun. I've always had a lighter color hat for working outdoors thinking it would be cooler. I read awhile back a darker color hat is better for sun protection and thought I would give it try. I think there is some merit to this -- I bought the darker color and it does seem to help keep me cooler. The only downside with this hat for me is - it runs bit small. This hat is a bit tight and can be uncomfortable when wearing a long time. Otherwise this is a great hat for sun protection.

I'm a hat guy because in Southwest GA the heat and sun will hurt you. This hat fits just the way I imagined. I bought this hat for my summer trip to Dubai. Yeah I bought it early but I don't like last minute. The hat is huge and covers out to my shoulders. Anyone who's been to Dubai in the summer knows what's up. I got it for my desert excursions. It hit 120° my last trip and all I had was a ball cap. This hat has ni e vents, a great light-weight material, I can wet it, and it will roll up into my backpack. Highy recommended.

When I opened the box, I noticed one end of chin cord was not sewn to the hat. The hat itself is good but I’m returning it.

I ordered a hat for me to work out in the yard and garden and my wife likes it also so I ordered her one.Update: The one I ordered the wife arrived today and she couldn’t wait to put it to use in the garden. I ordered it because the one she bought for herself was the women’s version and it appeared to have been returned from a previous purchaser and was in terrible condition ,so I ordered her one of the men’s which the only difference is the women’s version has a cheap snap button. The men’s version is a much better hat as both I ordered are of great quality. To keep from getting our hats confused I bought me the tan version and she wanted the light grey. They are great hats and the quality is great. Our granddaughter likes the hats also so I now have a Christmas gift for her ordered.

Muy buen material. Se lo compre a mi esposo. El tiene una cabeza ancha y es alto, la mayoría de los sombreros le quedan chicos. Este es perfecto pero no es para alguien con una cabeza chica.

El concreto viene en una bolsa doblado, lo que maltrato el ala del mismo, lo que hace que se vea viejo.
