The media could not be loaded.  In addition to being a fan of wine, my husband and I grew up in the bar/restaurant business. We've used and abused quite a lot of corkscrews over time but I can honestly say that I LOVE this corkscrew.Right out of the box I was impressed with the weight and feel of this tool. The stainless steel, rosewood and rivets actually match my finer cutlery set. In addition to being beautiful, this corkscrew feels solid and smooth. Twist the worm into the cork with confidence because there is no wiggling between the worm and handle! The spring in the bootlever is also a very nice touch. The BB logo is amazing too.I would definitely recommend this as a must have for bar owners, bartenders, and wine drinkers. With the quality at this price point I think our bar staff is going to get one gifted to them. My brother was very happy to pop the cork on a Merlot and let me record his assessment too.

For the price this is great! The metal does not come to a smooth finish and is separated from the wood a little. There is allot of pitting of the metal in theInset for the foil cutter.Not top quality, but for under $10 it is pretty good.The bottle opener is a nice addition with the corkscrew.

These are pretty cork pulls. The waiter style is my favorite, however I hoped the pulls would be hinged. The operation is a bit stiff, so hopefully with use they will become easier to work with.

Inevitably when you need a wine bottle opener you never have one. You scramble around to open it with something else, or if you are able to get one from a nearby store it's usually not worth anywhere near what you paid for it and breaks after the first use. I proactively purchased this opener prior to a bachelorette party this past weekend. As it turns out, you never need it when you have it (right?!) but I did test it before leaving the house and kept it in my wristlet for that opportune moment. It's heavy, well balanced, and works well. I've already added it to my cooler for summer concerts, cookouts, and the like so I won't be without a way into my favorite bottle of wine. This is a great value for the money, great quality, and incredibly well made.

I purchased this wine opener several months ago. It's the best corkscrew I've ever had and I've had many over the years. Some were much more expensive! The grooved design of the screw, which isn't too thick, is what makes it work so well. It threads easily and doesn't split the cork and it doesn't need to go all the way through the cork to extract it. No cork in your wine. The 2 stage pull mechanism works perfectly. It is made very well and easy to use. I liked mine so much, I recently sent one as a gift to a friend and he loves it. Very reasonably priced.

When I set out to buy a corkscrew this was not what I was looking for, but the style I was interested in got mixed reviews so I questioned myself and bought this for the time being based on price and reviews. It's awesome. Very easy to use and the most solid and well put together corkscrew I've ever had. The style and feel remind me of a quality folding knife. Happy I bought it.
