Banana BoatSummer Color Self-Tanning Lotion, Deep Dark Color for All Skin Tones, 6 oz

I'm cursed with lots of spider veins on my pale legs and feel very self-conscious about them. Enter this FABULOUS self-tanner that gives me a natural sun-kissed look w/o UV damage, and makes my veins a lot less noticeable. When I first got it, I applied 2 x day for the first 3 days (put on first thing in the morning, let it absorb for about 10 minutes before getting dressed, and repeated in the afternoon), then I put it on daily for the next few days. Now I put it on every other day and it maintains the tan. No orange tones, no streaks. For some reason my feet stay somewhat pale, but it's not a big deal for me. Bonus points for a great price and faint floral scent. Definitely will be buying this again!

I have tried maybe 5 or 6 different self tanners, some value ones like this and some luxury ones. Truthfully the expensive ones weren’t worth it in my experience.This doesn’t tan very dark, but this is fine because it just adds some natural color, isn’t orange or streaky, doesn’t stain my bedding or clothes, and is only faintly smelly. (I am GROSSED OUT by the stench of self tanners once the tan develops. It can be nicely scented lotion but once it soaks in and develops you get that gross musty odor. This one barely smells at all!) I’d definitely be happy to purchase again. This is among the best I have tried.Also even with washing hands after applying, my palms are faintly orange so if that bothers you, maybe wear a mitt.

Hands down the best tanning product l've ever used. It comes out as just a white lotion and the product develops in a few hours. It's also buildable in case you don't like the color it gives the first time. It's so amazing.

Works great, looks like a real tan. My neighbors went on vacation for 2 weeks and thought I had went to the beach when they returned. They thought my tan was real… My 16 year-old daughter just got back from church camp and thought I had laid out all week lol. Now I have to hide my lotion from her lol…. The lotion spreads evenly, I haven’t noticed any stripping. It gradually gets darker within a few hours, I put it on the night before and sleep in it. It doesn’t rub off or anything, and no need to wash off any guard like other self tanners… I love how you can just put it on and not have to worry about it… it started to fade after a third shower, so I’m great that it last a little bit.Avoid getting it in your hairline if you’re putting it on your face too, it’ll grab on and it doesn’t come off until several washes. I used alcohol wipes and it wouldn’t come off… wash your hands 3-4 times after use or you’ll have orange palms. I washed my hands for 3x’s and my palms are still kinda orange…

Perfect color. It starts darkening your skin within hours. Doesn't rub off on clothing. I am very happy with the color and darkness. I am extremely white and I thought this would be blotchy or turnmy skin orange, but no, works great. My skin feels softer. Once you wash it, most of it comes off, but you still retain a little color. It's perfect. Wish I would have bought this last summer. Will buy again

This is the first self-tanning lotion I’ve ever used completely — and even ordered a second bottle because I didn’t want to run out! The color goes on smooth and even, and feels incredibly light on the skin. It dries quickly, and once it sets, you can barely feel it. You’ll start seeing results after just one use.My routine is simple: I apply it once a day after my morning shower for the first three days. That gives me the perfect tan that lasts about a week. Then I just repeat the cycle! Once dry, it doesn’t transfer onto clothes or sheets, which is a huge plus.Normally, I can't stand the smell of self-tanners, but this one is different. It does have a scent, but it’s light enough that others don’t notice — and after my evening shower, the smell disappears completely until the next application.Overall, I give this product:10/10 for color10/10 for lightweight feel10/10 for not transferring onto clothing or bedding8/10 for scent10/10 for affordability!Highly recommend! —Kathy J

I have every tanning product known to man! Lol! So I use multiple products to get the kind of tan that I like. I use this product as a base starter because it’s a white cream and I can apply it all over and not worry about staining my sheets or my clothes. Nor is it sticky or a big production to put on like other tanning mousse. It gives me a “warm” Medium tan base (I am fair and cool toned) But not yellow or orange. A warm golden believable color.I can also apply a light layer of moisturizer right out of the shower and then apply this on 45 minutes after and still have it work, so therefore my skin does not dry out as much.I also use this for my face and it gives me a very natural look. However, this is not an instant tan after one or two uses. You do have to use it more than once or twice to get a medium tan.I Love looking tan, but I hate having to put all these tanning products on… except this one is so easy and fast!

This certainly works in a pinch before an event to give some color and glow. Overall not my favorite due to the slight steakiness and orange hue of the product. For gradual tanning lotion I’d put jergens natural glow in #1 place. I wanted to give this a shot and compare and kinda regret it hahaha. It gives pretty drastic results within 8-10 hours of application. I like to build my tan up to a more natural shade like the jergens or tan luxe.
