Comfortable, good solid support fit with a single wrist strap making the brace quick and easy to remove and put back on. The low profile is most appreciated. My previous braces required removing to put on gloves then wearing the brace over the gloves. There's not much bulk on this brace and I can pull my knit gloves right over it.

Brace works perfectly to support wrist and thumb and relieve pain from De Quervain's tenosynovitis. Size is good and it is comfortable to wear. Daily use at work puts it to the test, Velcro strap could be a little stronger.

This is a pretty good brace and it does keep my thumb immobile while it's healing. But the Velcro is very weak and is constantly coming undone. And when that happens the Velcro sticks to everything. Also when I wash it, it takes a very long time to dry.

I’ve suffered from carpal tunnel for over 35 years and have had MANY braces. This brace had a really nice cushion and is very comfortable. I would say this is the best one I’ve had in all my life.

I'm way over due for a trapeziectomy. I must wait until summer because I'm a commercial fisherman and can't afford to immobilize for 4 month during healing. I've tried many of these splints from KT tape to the high priced offerings at the local Med-Mart. They do not work.This one does....Well, almost.The aluminum frame in this splint and the support created by a loop around the thumb preceding the velcro strap allows this splint the stability to retain some immobilization of the offending joint. The Achilles heel is the upper thumb wrap itself. The wrap uses a cheap velcro scrap to immobilize the thumb. The velcro failed the first few minutes after first putting on this brace. This part of the brace is imperative for relief.This brace would be the best IF the thumb wrap piece would stay put. The cheap velcro used at the thumb will not stick at all allowing as much movement as if the brace were not on at all..Gluing did not help. Replacing with better velcro would need to be sewn on, a skill I do not posses. Wrapping the velcro piece with stretching self-sticking electrical tape is the only solution I found that will place the thumb in the correct position.A pain? yes. Less thumb pain? Yes to that, too.
