Pentium Backup Solution... That’s Right Folks…
So..Wanted a flexible Windows 10 backup tool. Should have done more research. Have multiple profiles on our home PC. Dell w/3.6G I7, 16GB memory and SATA-SSD. Windows backup worked OK, but wanted more granularity. Software installed with an issue. It was an older version requiring update from the vendor site. Update completed, now called Backup Now Pro. Started backups. After 24 hours, still running. Decided to read vendor FAQ's. Surprise surprise.. talks about running with Pentium cpu's. Perhaps a bit dated.. ya think! Still cannot get their continuous backup to function. I consider this purchase a cheap lesson.

Absolute piece of garbage.
An absolute piece of garbage. Recently purchased an SSD to backup one of my systems. This software took 20 minutes to copy 8GB, terrible. I manually performed a complete backup of over 100GB in under 30 minutes. The interface looks as if they didn't even spend the time to use visual basic. I think anyone could have done a better job with tk. Not to mention the installer, only worked after installing the trial version, then registering. Normal install didn't work at all. It's a good lesson if you want something done, clearly do it yourself in this case.

NTI best backup software
NTI backup is the best backup software that I have ever purchased. It is also helpful to have a quality backup drive and the latest operating system software. I have used version five in the past and it worked well. I highly recommend the product.

Terribly Difficult to use
You should only buy this software if you like solving mysteries, or if you enjoy spending an hour clicking on various tabs and buttons to see what happens. This software is unbelievably hard to use. It's not at all intuitive or friendly. As a user I was never sure at any moment if I was performing the correct steps to initiate a Back-up or a Restore. The 'HELP" files are the most confusing, ambiguous, incomplete, and sometimes flat-out incorrect 'Help' files I've seen in the last 20 years. The NTI company had someone write the 'Help' files but no one checked to see if the 'Help' files were correct, or even understandable. Once during an attempted Restore operation, the 'Help' file said "Click on the 'OPTIONS' button." There was *NO* 'OPTIONS' button!! There are all manner of buttons, tabs, and boxes in various windows upon which you can click, but the 'Help' file gives you no information on what will happen if you click on them. After I defined a Restore operation the software asked me when I wanted my 'Restore' to happen, "Now" or "Later." When I clicked the "Now" button, nothing happened! No Restore took place! I am not joking.

Should you buy this software?
I did and I have had problems. In the NTi box is a half sheet of paper with some short instructions on installation, fine. There is also a sentence that states "Tech Support assistance can be reached at 949-421-0712", on May18,2017, I called this number and got a message that it has been disconnected. Calling the main number I reached a person who did not want to offer any assistance by claiming he had no knowledge of how his software works and only offered/suggested that I email tech support. (I was made to feel like I was wasting his time)So I emailed tech supportMy tech questions started by stating "It is taking five (5) plus hours to do a full disk back up of only 169 gigabytes to an empty Seagate 1 terra byte usb 3.0 drive. And my questions:Is this normal? Can this be sped up somehow?"Is there a way to boot and run NTI software to avoid starting the Win OS?Answer received after emailing tech support:"Dear Customer, That seems a little slow unless you system is running other processes that is slowing down the backup because of the resources they are using or the files they have locked. There is nothing in Backup Now 6 that will change how long it takes to run a backup. It runs the backup jobs as fast as it can. Backup Now 6 runs its backup in Windows. You can’t boot into something else to run the backup.."I know the obvious, I am a Network Engineer, so looking for additional answers from NTi, I sent a follow-up email, which to date has gone unanswered, since their tech support appears to be not interested in helping any further I am done with this company. (I expect to see a response from NTi to this review, let's see what NTi does)Should you buy this software? Perhaps it will run faster on your system, perhaps this company will be more helpful for you and perhaps you are very patient and don't mind waiting 5 plus hours for a backup job to finish running, I am not that patient.

Very good program. Easy to install and it backs up ...
Very good program. Easy to install and it backs up my system in very little time. Simple to use and well worth the money. I even had to use it to restore a file I messed up, and within a couple of minutes I was back and running.

Not as easy or usable as adverts promise; If my Windows & backup worked I would prefer it.
It is very difficult to determine if the files were actually backed up; also difficult to restore a single folder or directory. Perhaps someone with more technical knowledge would find the product easy to use but certianly not a novice!

Unhappy with the time it takes to make a backup.
I am on day 5 of doing an initial backup of my computer to an external drive - it is EXTREMELY slow. At this pace, I expect it to be still running for another 5 days.I have 4 drives on a system with 8xi7 processors with 16gig of memory. By no definition is my machine slow. Drives:1: - 512gig SSD about 2/3 filled (internal sata)2: - 128 SSD about 1/10 filled (internal sata)3: - 2tb Caviar Black HD about 1/2 filled (external esata)4: - 2tb Caviar Black HD (USB2)Drives 1, 2, and 3 are being backed-up to drive 4.As an example point, Acronis True Image 2017 backed-up my entire system in 8-12 hours (That product has an identified bug that makes it unusable to me.). Anyways, my best guess is the product is serially reading my 20,000+ photos (on drive 3) one at a time, compressing them(?), and writing them. It is painfully, intensely slow . I am ready to return the product at this point, but I want to see what happens when it eventually completes.
